Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the development of mathematical models for forecasting energy consumption using a probabilistic approach, particularly focusing on the Bayesian Dynamic Linear Model (BDLM). The research method employed is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), utilizing literature sources indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar, with publication dates ranging from 2014 to 2024. The findings of the research indicate that the application of BDLM has made a significant contribution to the optimization of energy management, especially in sectors such as industry and commercial buildings. The study highlights the effectiveness of BDLM in accurately predicting energy consumption through a probabilistic approach that efficiently manages uncertainty. However, the research also emphasizes that BDLM presents limitations and challenges that warrant attention, including the complexity involved in parameter determination and model validation processes, as well as the importance of addressing potential biases and considering factors such as deployment impacts. This research provides deep insights into the potential and challenges in the development of mathematical models for forecasting energy consumption, while also offering directions for further research in this field.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the level of mathematical literacy in the context of daily life among high school students, with a focus on differences between male and female students. The research method employed is quantitative with a survey approach. A total of 13 male students and 24 female students from various high schools participated as subjects. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 15 statements designed to measure students' perceptions and understanding of mathematical literacy in everyday life. Data analysis was conducted using the paired sample t-test to compare differences in responses between male and female students. The analysis results showed a paired sample t-test value of -0.368, with a significance value (sig) of 0.719. These findings indicate that there is no significant difference between the responses of male and female students regarding mathematical literacy in the context of daily life. Nevertheless, this research provides an important contribution to understanding students' perceptions of mathematical literacy and its implications in the educational context. Further research can delve into the factors influencing students' perceptions of mathematical literacy and broaden the sample scope to obtain a more holistic understanding of the phenomena under investigation.

Abstract

Abstract:  To improve students' learning outcomes, particularly in mathematics, it is necessary to implement learning activities not only through the regular curriculum but also through extracurricular activities by providing additional tutoring. The extracurricular learning focuses on training students to solve math problems that frequently appear in various exams. The goal of this community service program is to offer tutoring to students on how to solve math problems quickly and accurately. The method used involves direct teaching to students, divided into three stages: the initial stage, which is preparation; the implementation stage; and the final stage, which is the evaluation of the activities. Based on the evaluation results, data showed an average score increase of 9.63 points, and the overall class mastery also improved by 12.33%.Abstrak: Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya dalam bidang matematika, perlu dilaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran tidak hanya melalui kurikulum reguler tetapi juga melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan memberikan bimbingan belajar tambahan.
