Abstract

The research explores the nexus between taxation laws, climate change control, and energy transition acceleration, focusing on Indonesia's legal framework and international commitments. Highlighting Indonesia's ratification of the Kyoto Protocol and its subsequent policies, including the adoption of carbon taxes, the study underscores the need for effective fund allocation to combat climate change and accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources. Using a normative juridical research approach, the study analyzes legal provisions, literature, and comparative frameworks to elucidate the regulatory landscape. It identifies gaps in the current legal framework concerning carbon tax allocation and calls for establishing clear regulations to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency in fund utilization. Drawing upon legal principles such as environmental justice, prevention of environmental damage, and sustainability, the study advocates for a holistic approach to environmental protection and management. It proposes recommendations for formulating government regulations, emphasizing the importance of defining terms, outlining implementation procedures, and instituting mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation. Ultimately, the research underscores the pivotal role of law in addressing climate change and advancing sustainable development. By aligning taxation laws with environmental objectives, Indonesia can harness carbon tax revenues to foster renewable energy development, mitigate climate change impacts, and promote long-term ecological sustainability

Abstract

The rapid development of the times greatly influenced education, many problems occurred such as the dichotomy of science and so on, western leaders suggested that science and religious science were not related to each other, a Turkish Muslim figure, Said Nursi made efforts to overcome the dichotomy of science, namely by sparking thoughts of integration of science. This article aims to analyze Said Nursi's thoughts regarding the integration of education and the relevance of Said Nursi's thinking to Indonesian education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. Data acquisition techniques are taken from several reference sources such as journals, e-books and other references relevant to the research theme. The data analysis of this study is a descriptive model. The result obtained from this research is that the integration of science according to Said Nursi is the union of religious science and science. Said Nursi wrote down his thoughts contained in his work, namely the Risalah an Nur, suggesting that the system of implementing education cannot negate religion, because religious science is the light of conscience while modern sciences are the light of reason, the truth will become clearly visible by combining the two sciences. The relevance of Said Nursi's thoughts regarding the integration of science with Islamic education in Indonesia can be seen from the aspects of the curriculum applied in Indonesia, one of which is the 2013 curriculum. The 2013 curriculum not only focuses on science but also focuses on religious science to shape the character of students who have faith and insight.

Abstract

Article 18 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia stipulates that regional governments can carry out their government affairs based on the principles of autonomy and assistance duties. Regional regulations must be formed appropriately to reflect the needs of society and what needs to be regulated and resolved. So regional regulations must be in line with the guidelines on the principles of statutory regulations. However, as KPPOD data states, up to 2021 there are at least 347 regional regulations that are still problematic. For example, Surakarta City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 concerning Regional Taxes, Mukomuko Regency Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2016 concerning Muslim and Muslim Dress for Students, and Bogor City Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2018 concerning Non-Smoking Areas. The research uses normative juridical research methods with a statutory and regulatory approach, with primary and secondary legal materials. The technique for collecting legal materials in this research was carried out using documentation studies. The research results show that the regional regulations that the author used as a case study in this research have problems in their implementation. These problems include conflicts of norms and regional regulations that differ in substance from the latest decisions testing the regulations used as guidelines by these regional regulations, which ultimately results in the emergence of legal uncertainty in society. Therefore, the competent authorities can immediately revise or revoke these regulations. Keywords: Principles of Statutory Regulations, Regional Government, Regional Regulations.
