Abstract

This research aims to design and build a web-based New Student Admission Information System (PPDB) at Marawang State Elementary School. This system was developed as a solution to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in the process of admitting new students. By utilizing web-based technology, prospective students and parents can register online, upload required documents, and monitor registration status in real-time. The school has the convenience of verifying data, managing information, and generating admission reports automatically. Data security is an important aspect of this system, so it is designed with personal information protection features to maintain the confidentiality of students. The system development method is carried out through a web-based approach that allows flexible access from a variety of devices. The results of the study show that the web-based PPDB system is able to speed up the administration process, reduce manual errors, and increase user satisfaction. The implementation of this system not only provides benefits for Marawang State Elementary School, but can also be used as a model for other schools in adopting a similar information system. Thus, the web-based PPDB system contributes to the modernization of basic education management and supports the creation of more effective and transparent educational services.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is an important demand in the world of education, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level which prepares students to enter the digital-based world of work. However, students in class X of SMKS Efata still show delays in mastering ICT which has an impact on the learning process and their competency readiness. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause students to delay in mastering ICT as well as identify strategic steps to improve their skills. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the limitations of technology facilities, the lack of experience of students using computer devices before entering vocational schools, and the low intensity of ICT learning practices are the dominant factors that affect the delay in mastering technology. In addition, the difference in students' backgrounds in digital literacy and the lack of assistance during the learning process also slow down the development of their abilities. Nevertheless, students have good motivation to learn and adapt to technology if they are given the support of the right learning facilities and strategies. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that improving facilities, strengthening practice-based learning methods, and intensive mentoring are needed to accelerate students' ICT mastery. This research is expected to be the basis for schools in formulating ICT learning policies that are more effective and in accordance with the needs of technological developments.

Abstract

Currently, patients experiencing early symptoms of skin disease caused by the exanthema virus are unable to immediately consult a dermatologist due to the high cost and limited time available for specialists in hospitals. Therefore, the author needs to develop an expert system application that can address this issue. Through this application, users can consult with the system, much like an expert, to diagnose their symptoms and find solutions to their problems. This expert system is designed to provide answers based on whether the symptoms are correct or not, or to provide several recommended answer choices based on the symptoms. To diagnose skin disease caused by the exanthema virus, the author used the Case-Based Reasoning method. The CBR method is a weighting technique that compares new cases with previous cases. The diagnosis is based on data provided by the patient and expert, which is then analyzed using case-based reasoning and stored as a knowledge database in the expert system. Therefore, this expert system can help identify solutions for problems experienced by patients suffering from skin disease caused by the Exanthema Virus.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a student learning progress monitoring system designed to assist teachers and parents in tracking students’ academic performance at SMP Negeri 2 Loura. The main issue identified in the school is that academic information is still distributed using manual procedures, which results in delays and limited transparency regarding students’ learning progress. To address this problem, the system was developed using the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and the Waterfall approach to system development, which consists of several sequential phases such as analyzing requirements, designing the system, implementing the solution, conducting tests, and performing ongoing maintenance. The findings of this research show that the system that has been created is capable of presenting academic information in a complete and structured manner, including assignment scores, daily tests, and semester examinations. The system provides faster and easier access for teachers to input grades and for parents to monitor their children’s academic development in real time. Functional testing shows that all features operate correctly according to user needs, with no errors found during system operation.

Abstract

Despite its cultural potential, Wetabar Village has not been supported by effective digital promotional media. Information access remains limited, and the lack of interactive promotional platforms has contributed to the low interest of tourists. Current promotional efforts rely heavily on conventional methods, resulting in decreased visitor numbers. The implementation of digital technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Web-based 360° Virtual Reality Tours is considered an effective approach to increasing tourist engagement by offering immersive exploration experiences and interactive cultural content. This research aims to design and implement a web-based tourism promotion media that integrates local cultural content with AR and 360° virtual tour technologies. The development process follows the MDLC research method, utilizing the Lumi H5P platform and PHP for system implementation. The resulting system enables users to digitally explore Wetabar Village through panoramic views and interactive multimedia features. The findings show that the developed application runs smoothly on both Android devices and laptops and is capable of providing hotspot access to operate the virtual reality features. This innovation is expected to enhance tourist interest while supporting cultural preservation and promoting digital transformation within the tourism sector of West Sumba.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah mendorong lahirnya inovasi media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual dalam dunia pendidikan dasar. Salah satu teknologi yang mulai banyak diterapkan adalah Augmented Reality (AR), yang mampu memadukan objek virtual tiga dimensi dengan lingkungan nyata secara real time melalui perangkat digital. Namun, pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SD Negeri Kalimbu Tillu masih didominasi metode konvensional berbasis ceramah dan buku teks, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi pembelajaran IPS berbasis Augmented Reality dengan pendekatan algoritma rendering objek 3D sederhana serta menganalisis peningkatan pemahaman belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Kalimbu Tillu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) sebagai pendekatan pengembangan sistem, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan aplikasi AR mampu memvisualisasikan materi IPS secara lebih konkret, menarik, dan interaktif, sehingga membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep abstrak seperti kenampakan alam dan buatan dengan lebih baik. Temuan ini memperkuat teori pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dan konstruktivisme yang menekankan pentingnya pengalaman belajar visual dan interaktif. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi Augmented Reality berpotensi menjadi media pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman belajar IPS siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan materi, melibatkan jumlah subjek yang lebih besar, serta mengkaji dampak AR terhadap aspek afektif dan psikomotorik siswa.
