Abstract

This research uses qualitative research methods to analyze "character values ​​from the Saridin folklore". Shows that the story "Saridin" contains values ​​such as divinity, nationalism, independence and mutual cooperation. These values ​​develop good character and skills. Saridin Folklore on the coast, especially in Pati, still remains strong in society because the process of cultural reproduction is still ongoing through art, literary works and local traditions. However, he is also known as a strong person because he expresses truth and justice in ways that often violate common norms. Saridin is considered to represent the critical wisdom of Javanese coastal communities. He upholds six main values, namely sincerity, patience, obedience to teachers and parents, honesty, concern for the environment, and faith in the power of God. This is in accordance with the demands of character education which emphasizes the importance of cultural awareness and cultural intelligence, as does Saridin.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of Smart Clock learning media as an aid in learning mathematics on time material in grade 2 of SD NU Tanwirul Qulub. The media is designed as a three-dimensional analog clock that can be adjusted by students to facilitate understanding of the concept of time units in a concrete and fun way. This study applies the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, and development. The validation process was carried out by material experts and media experts, each carried out twice. The validation results showed an increase in scores from 60% to 90% in material validation, and from 92% to 96% in media validation, indicating that the media is included in the "very valid" category. A limited trial was conducted involving eight grade 2 students, and the results showed that 87.5% of students responded positively to the application of this media in learning. Smart Clock media has proven effective in improving students' understanding of reading time and creating an active and interactive learning atmosphere. Therefore, this media is recognized as suitable for use as an alternative in learning mathematics for time material in lower grades of elementary school.

Abstract

The study of language communication according to Jahiz and Ibnu Jinni provides deep insight into classical linguistic thought in the Arabic context. "Al-Jahiz'', an important figure in the history of Arabic linguistics, developed the theory of "nazm'' which emphasized the relationship between pronunciation, meaning, and social context. He argued that the formation of language meaning cannot be separated from its historicity and suggested the existence of a strong relationship between language elements such as pronunciation, signs, writing and contracts.Meanwhile, "Ibn Jinni" defines language as the sounds used by society to convey meaning. He emphasized that language is a social phenomenon that has a function in the context of certain groups. In his work "Al-Khasha'is", Ibn Jinni describes the sound characteristics and social functions of language and distinguishes between terms such as lahjah (dialect) and fushah (standard). He also introduced the “qiyas” method for creating new languages, which demonstrated an analytical approach in understanding the structure and use of language.These two thinkers show that language communication is not just a tool for interaction, but also reflects the social and cultural identity of society. Thus, their study makes a significant contribution to the understanding of modern linguistics and the social relevance of language.
