Abstract

Abstract The learning Model is one of the important parts in the learning process. Where there are many factors that become obstacles in the learning process where teachers must be able to prepare various devices in the process. Many factors that affect the low interest of students in learning PAI, among other factors of the teacher itself, for example, in the learning process activities, approaches, strategies, methods or learning models are still conventional, learning tends to be focused on the teacher (Teacher Centered). The method used in this study is qualitative research in which the presentation of data in a descriptive qualitative sourced from references or observations that have been made. The place of research in SMAN 2 Garut which aims to explore the learning model used in the learning process in PAI subjects. The results of research conducted that PAI teachers at SMAN 2 Garut diverse in using learning models. The number of PAI teachers in the school is three and varies in understanding and using learning models in achieving learning goals. There are those who use the learning model of Active Learning, Cooperative Learning, contextual. All of which have an effect on increasing student motivation. Abstract

In the material of the procrdure for major purification of hadas, students often experience difficulties in implementing it because of the many differences of opinion, especially for students who are new to the material. To overcome this, the problem-based learning (PBL) model is the right choice to improve understanding through a more conceptual approach. The PBL model focuses on the use of problems as a starting point for learning where teachers present peoblems that are relevant to everyday life so as to encourage students to think critically. This study aims to describe the implementation of the PBL model for students on the material of the procedure for purification of major hadas in the fiqh subject phase e at MAN 1 Garut. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptivr-survey method throug interviews and observations of student behavior. Primary data were obtained from interviews with fiqh feachers and also student interviews. While secondary data sources were obtained from graphie documents such as teaching modules,photod, teaching resources. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the problem-based learning model had a significant influence on students’ undersing of the material of the procedure for major purification of hadas in the fiqh subject phase e at MAN 1 Garut. This study revealed thet students’ contributions wewe greater than the use of other learning models.  Keywords: Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Sharpening creative thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education is very necessary for the development of students. These creative thinking skills are needed to solve various kinds of problems. However, according to the Global Creativity Index (GCI) in 2017, it was stated that out of 127 countries researched, Indonesia was ranked 87th for the global creativity index with a score of 30.10. Likewise, the results of observations showed that the creative thinking skills of students in phase F of class XI-4 Animation of SMKN 4 Garut were still low, where only 38.10% of students were able to think creatively. To overcome this problem, the action taken was to apply the Experiential Learning method in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students' creative thinking skills using the Experiential Learning method. This study used the PTK research method, data collection techniques by conducting creative thinking ability tests on 21 students, interviews with teachers, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that creative thinking skills can be improved after implementing the Experiential Learning method in phase F of class XI-4 Animation SMKN 4 Garut. The average creative thinking ability of students is in the good category because it can increase from 60% to 80%. Likewise, student learning outcomes from previously at an average of 45 increased to 80. Thus, all students have been able to meet the indicators of creative thinking skills comprehensively.
