Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide, with an estimated 528,000 cases and 260,000 deaths yearly (Kagabu et al., 2020). The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia in 2018 was 23.4 per 100,000, with an average death rate of 13.9 per 100,000 (Profil RI, 2020). This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of VIA and Pup Smear examinations. The research method uses literature, which involves reviewing and critically evaluating existing literature sources. Review of journals in this study by searching for journals in the database (Google Scholar and PubMed). The results of the study state that the sensitivity value of Pap smear is 97.14%. This shows that it is higher than the sensitivity of VIA examination, and the specificity value of VIA is higher at 94.5% compared to the specificity value of VIA. Of the two methods, Pap Smear Visual Inspection screening is more effective than VIA. This study concludes that the Pap Smear Visual Inspection screening method is more effective than the IVA method. The sensitivity and discipline for detecting high-grade scrotal intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are higher than a pap smear.

Abstract

Terong merupakan tumbuhan tnaman sayuran yang dapat tumbuh dengan mudah dalam berbagai kondisi dan tidak rewel dalam perawatannya Selain itu, tanaman terong memiliki masa tanam yang tidak terlalu lama menyebabkan tanaman banyak ditanam oleh masyarakat petani,Biasanya terong ini oleh masyarakat petani dijual dalam bentuk segar sehingga nilai jual menjadi rendah. Untuk meningkatkan nilai jual tersebut diperlukan sentuhan teknologi untuk mengolah terong menjadi produk olahan, seperti dodol.guru guru sebagai sasaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu PKK perlu diperkenalkan dengan produk olahan ini melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan dodol terong. Serangkaian kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan mengenalkan teknologi sederhana kepada ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengolah terong menjadi dodol. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam yang melimpah namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam proses pengolahan dodol terong. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan dodol terong dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sasaran mampu mengaplikasikan pengolahan terong menjadi dodol terong. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the management of the guidance system at SDN 27 Olo Ladang, as well as to identify the factors influencing the effectiveness of its implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the management of the guidance system in elementary schools still faces various challenges, including unstructured planning, lack of standardized implementation guidelines, limited facilities and professional counseling personnel, infrequent program evaluation, and low parental involvement in the guidance process. The guidance programs tend to be reactive and are not designed based on students’ developmental needs. Based on these findings, improvements are needed in planning, teacher training, provision of supporting facilities, regular program evaluation, and strengthening parental involvement. Enhancing these aspects is expected to make the guidance system more effective in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development in elementary schools.
