Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine students' understanding of Besmart Elearning-based learning, student preparation in participating in Besmart Elearning-based learning and the obstacles experienced by students in implementing Besmart Elearning-based learning. This research approach is qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that students' understanding of Besmart Elearning in Pancasila education courses has the same view that learning is effective, efficient and that learning materials are systematically arranged, so that students can easily understand and access them. Preparation of students in taking part in besmart elearning-based learning must have mature readiness, both in terms of technology and media components in the form of computers, laptops and adequate internet access. Besides that, prepare yourself with fresh and consistent intentions, hearts, minds. Students also prepare learning resources in learning. The obstacles experienced by students are that students have very diverse obstacles. Constraints on the unsupported internet network and server down because the database server is overloaded due to the large number of users accessing it and the signal is not supported. The rest of the electronic-based learning (Besmart Elearning) in Pancasila education courses is easily accessible to students.

Abstract

Teachers have a central role in the learning process in the classroom, where one of the competencies that must be possessed is pedagogical competence. This competency is important so that teachers can manage learning effectively, develop the potential; of students, understand learning models, prevent monotonous learning, design learning programs, understand the characteristics of students, and evaluate learning outcomes. The research aims to determine the role of principal as an educator in developing teachers’ pedagogical competence in SMA Negeri 1 Koba, Central Bangka Regency. The research method used is qualitative with research subjects of the principal, vice principal of the curriculum section, and five teachers. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of collection, condensation, display, and conclusions drawing/verification. The results showed that the principal in SMA Negeri 1 Koba plays a essential role as an educator in improving teachers’ pedagogical competence through providing guidance, providing encouragement, providing direction, building a conducive atmosphere, providing opportunities, setting an example, providing advice, and conducting training. This role allows teachers to learn and develop, both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the application of the group investigation model to strengthen students' democratic attitudes in the Pancasila Education course. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at Yogyakarta State University in the undergraduate department of education management in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, involving 46 students as the main informants. The results showed that the application of the group investigation model in the active learning process, both in class and through WhatsApp groups, was facilitated by a discussion sheet containing responses, suggestions, and questions that had to be filled in by several groups of listeners. The discussion was conducted after the presenting group delivered its topic, where the listening group gave responses to the presenting group. This democratic attitude emerges due to students' active participation in the learning forum, which includes freedom to participate, freedom of expression, and the development of collaborative attitudes. Thus, the group investigation model improves the understanding of the material and shapes students' characters to be more democratic and collaborative in their interactions with others.
