Abstract

The evaluation of supplier selection is an important aspect that needs to be considered in supply chain management. The best suppliers contribute to a more efficient supply chain system. Companies operating in the food distribution sector are particularly attentive to their suppliers. One of the products that receives significant attention is spinach, a perishable item, making supplier evaluation crucial. This research aims to evaluate the supplier selection of spinach products based on several criteria, such as delivery, quality, price, service, and location. Weighting is done using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this case, assessment or weighting is carried out by distributing questionnaires to three respondents in the field. The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is employed to determine the rankings of each alternative. The results of this study indicate that the price criterion has the highest weight with a weight of 0.39. The recommended selected alternative is alternative 4, with the highest average value (Vi) based on the assessments of three experts. This model proves capable of addressing the issues of supplier selection evaluation, leading to the selection of alternative or supplier 4 as the spinach supplier for the food distribution company.

Abstract

The publication of mathematics education research results has increased and developed from time to time, especially in accredited national journals. This study aims to provide an overview of research trends in the field of mathematics education published in Southeast Asian Mathematics Education Journal (SEAMEJ) and identify future mathematics education research opportunities. This research is a scoping literature review using the five-stage Arksey O'Malley framework. The review was conducted on 20 articles in the field of mathematics education published in Southeast Asian Mathematics Education Jornal (SEAMEJ) in the period 2021-2022. The result of research on the topic of mathematics education research in the past were dominated by the design of learning model changing towards teaching materials used in learning. Mathematical method will also evolve over time. Mathematics education research in the past still used a lot of quantitative approaches and changed to qualitative approaches. The subjects of mathematics education research were dominated by junior high school students. It is hoped that further research can broaden the observed dimensions, for example on the topic of mathematics education research studies to be able to study ethnomathematics.

Abstract

The use of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as a promotive and preventive effort in maintaining public health is still relatively low, especially in rural areas that have abundant natural resource potential, and this condition is exacerbated by high exposure to cigarette smoke in the household environment which risks causing various health problems, especially in the respiratory system. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of the community in utilizing TOGA as an alternative to support family health, which was carried out in Dusun 02 Pekon Blitarejo, Gading Rejo District, Pringsewu Regency targeting teenagers and the general public. The methods used include counseling, training, and community mentoring, where counseling is carried out interactively using leaflets and posters, training through demonstrations of planting and processing herbal plants, and mentoring to ensure the sustainability of practices in the community environment. The results showed an increase in knowledge from 70% to 85% with an increase of 15%, as well as increased active community participation in planting and utilizing TOGA plants such as ginger, turmeric, lime, betel leaf, basil, and aloe vera.
