Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas masalah keseimbangan lintasan perakitan sederhana tipe I (Single Assembly Line Balancing Problem I (SALBP I)) menggunakan algoritma Variable Neigborhood Descent (VND) dengan kriteria minimisasi jumlah stasiun kerja. Algoritma VND terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap pembangkitan solusi inisial dan tahap local search. Solusi awal diperoleh dengan mengaplikasikan algoritma region approach yang kemudian diperbaiki dengan menggunakan neighborhood/local-search seperti 1-0 insertion dan swap (1-1 interchange). Algoritma usulan diuji dengan menggunakan beberapa data set yang terdapat dalam literatur. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma usulan dapat menghasilkan solusi yang sama dengan solusi terbaik yang telah dipulikasikan.Kata kunci: assembly line balancing, local search, variable neighborhood, stasiun kerja. ABSTRACTThis paper address the Single Assembly Line Balancing Problem I (SALBP I) using the Variable Neigborhood Descent (VND) with minimizing work station number criterion. The VND algorithm consist of two steps, the generation of the initial solution and the improvement step that using several neighborhoods/local searches. The initial solution is obtained by applying the region approach algorithm and then improved by using two neighborhoods/local searches, the 1-0 insertion and the 1-1 inter-change (swap). The proposed algorithm is tested using data sets from literatures. The result shows that the proposed algorithm produces similar results with the best known solution published.Keywords: assembly line balancing, local search, variable neighborhood, work station.

Abstract

The evaluation of supplier selection is an important aspect that needs to be considered in supply chain management. The best suppliers contribute to a more efficient supply chain system. Companies operating in the food distribution sector are particularly attentive to their suppliers. One of the products that receives significant attention is spinach, a perishable item, making supplier evaluation crucial. This research aims to evaluate the supplier selection of spinach products based on several criteria, such as delivery, quality, price, service, and location. Weighting is done using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this case, assessment or weighting is carried out by distributing questionnaires to three respondents in the field. The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is employed to determine the rankings of each alternative. The results of this study indicate that the price criterion has the highest weight with a weight of 0.39. The recommended selected alternative is alternative 4, with the highest average value (Vi) based on the assessments of three experts. This model proves capable of addressing the issues of supplier selection evaluation, leading to the selection of alternative or supplier 4 as the spinach supplier for the food distribution company.

Abstract

Health applications have unique characteristics compared to other applications. This application is needed to support the health of users/families with various facilities provided according to their functions and objectives. Usability measurement is carried out to evaluate the successful use of the application using various usability criteria. This study aimed to identify, analyze, and synthesize the usability evaluation of a mobile health application. The review was carried out on 65 selected papers from 799 usability papers from the Web of Science and Scopus in the 2013 to 2023 time period. The Systematic Literature Review approach used is the Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Based on the review results, it was identified that usability measurement on mobile health applications aims to validate system design, compare usability methods, improve application performance, and evaluate usability. Meanwhile, mHealth apps mostly function for treatment and self-care/self-management. Most of the reviewed papers used the general public as respondents. The respondents or participants in these studies are diverse and can be categorized into five groups: patients, healthcare professionals, older adults, experts, and the general public. Most of the research aims to evaluate usability with the most widely used method, the System Usability Scale, which is equipped with other supporting methods.

Abstract

Indonesia Coast Guard (IDNCG) is a paramilitary agency in charge of security and safety patrols in Indonesian maritime waters. The research objective is to develop priorities for the development of 35 IDNCG stations are expected to be constructed within 3 years and are considered priority project to face the increasing threats at sea. However, there is presently no system to provide support for the scientific solutions to prioritize station development despite the need for immediate decisions. This research was used to design model for determining station development priorities using the integration method of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). GIS was used as an effective tool for identifying and taking measurements in certain areas. Meanwhile, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods such as AHP and TOPSIS provided structural and pairwise quantification, as well as comparisons between elements and criteria for ranking station construction priorities. The most suitable alternative stations to be prioritized were determined by integrating the three methods which were classified as cost-effective for decision-making. Model was based on four criteria, including distance to Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ASL), Distance to the port, vulnerability coverage, and vessel density coverage. Stations were ranked based on a three-year development plan. The location ranking is then expressed in the form of a map to be used by policy makers in determining priorities for developing IDNCG Stations which will have an impact on increasing security and safety in Indonesian waters.
