Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan masalah bagaimana pengendalian kualitas PT XYZ pada line machining body cover. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengendalian kualitas line machining body cover dengan menggunakan six sigma. Six sigma merupakan suatu metode pengendalian kualitas produk dan teknik perbaikan yang dirancang untuk mencapai tingkat cacat yang sangat rendah pada proses manufaktur. Kemudian dilakukan tahapan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control). Define PT XYZ saat ini menetapkan target maksimal 0,7% cacat, namun rata-rata jumlah cacat pada line machining body sebesar 2,1%. Hal ini sangat perlu mendapat perhatian untuk segera diperbaiki guna mengurangi produk cacat pada line machining body cover. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan tingkat sigma pada periode Maret sampai dengan Mei diperoleh nilai sigma line produksi machining body cover sebesar 4,0 dengan rata-rata DPMO sebesar 6970. Dari hasil analisis dengan menggunakan diagram Pareto, terdapat 1 penyebab utama yaitu produk akhir yang kotor dan berminyak. Akar permasalahan ini dapat dilihat menggunakan diagram sebab-akibat, di mana terdapat beberapa faktor dominan, seperti manusia, mesin, dan metode. Selain itu, peneliti menganalisis menggunakan peta alir proses, karena peneliti merasakan masih banyaknya waktu tunggu bagi pekerja. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan di atas, peneliti memutuskan untuk melakukan perbaikan, yaitu dengan menambahkan proses pencucian agar sisa cairan pendingin yang masih menempel pada produk tidak langsung jatuh ke dalam mesin cuci yang menyebabkan penurunan kualitas udara pencucian secara cepat. Rata-rata sigma setelah perbaikan pada bulan Juni adalah 4,5, yang merupakan peningkatan sebesar 0,5 dari sebelum perbaikan.

Abstract

Work accidents are a problem that often occurs in various construction projects, including in workshop construction. To overcome this, implementing Occupational Health and Safety (K3) management is very important. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of K3 management with a focus on the use of the Hazard Analysis and Control Method (Job Safety Analysis) in preventing work accidents in workshop construction projects. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with workers and project managers, as well as analysis of documents related to K3. The process of implementing JSA is evaluated from the stage of identifying hazards, determining control measures, to implementing preventive measures. The research results show that the implementation of K3 management, especially through the use of the JSA method, has a significant role in reducing the risk of work accidents. Systematic identification of hazards and determination of appropriate control measures and helps increase awareness of potential risks in the workplace. Apart from that, this research makes an important contribution in strengthening understanding of the importance of implementing K3 management in the construction industry, especially in the installation of erections for workshop construction. Recommendations are provided to continue to improve the use of the JSA method and to achieve a safer and more productive work environment.

Abstract

Rumah adalah kebutuhan primer untuk manusia. Dalam Undang-undang nomor 1 tahun 2011 menyatakan negara bertanggung jawab melindungi segenap Indonesia dengan penyelenggaraan perumahan dan kawasan pemungkiman supaya masyarakat mampu bertempat tinggal yang layak dan terjangkau dalam lingkungan yang aman, sehat, dan berkelanjutan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya (BSPS) yang dikenal dengan program bedah rumah dari pemerintah dengan target mengurangi rumah yang tidak layak huni. Rumah tinggal dikatakan layak yang paling utama adalah kekuatan bangunan. Penelitian dilakukan Nagari Kambang Timur Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan penerima bantuan tahun 2022. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif. Penerapan struktur pada rumah penerima bantuan program BSPS di Nagari Kambang Timur Kecamatan Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan telah memenuhi sesuai petunjuk berdasarkan buku Teddy Boen 2010. Dimensi tulangan utama berdiameter 10 mm, sengkang berdiameter 8 mm dengan jarak maksimum 150 mm. sambungan tulangan kolom-balok dan kolom sloof dilebihkan 40D dan bengkokan 90 derajat dan untuk perkuatan dinding pasang jangkar sepanjang 40D dengan diameter tulangan 10 mm dan perbandingan campuran beton yang digunakan adalah 1 semen : 2 pasir : 3 kerikil.

Abstract

The implementation of ecological architecture in residential homes to support healthy homes and habitable homes so that they can provide benefits for residents, health, the environment, and architecture. The method carried out is qualitative by mentoring to homeowners to understand about ecological architecture. The results of this mentoring are 1) the implementation of local wisdom through the use of local materials, namely red bricks and tiles and the use of yards, 2) human resource development through the skills of homeowners as builders, 3) utilization of knowledge by implementing ecological architecture, namely air, water, land/earth, and heat/fire, and 4) improvement of human health by implementing building orientation, circulation of windows and doors, and environmental control by managing the environment from damage such as air pollution and garbage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis pengaruh perubahan tata guna lahan dan kondisi iklim terhadap sumber daya air di DAS Bekasi. Perubahan ini dipercaya memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap ketersediaan dan kualitas sumber daya air. Sejumlah studi sebelumnya telah menggarisbawahi pentingnya memahami pengaruh perubahan lingkungan pada sistem hidrologi. Namun, masih ada kesenjangan pengetahuan, khususnya dalam konteks DAS Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dan memberikan wawasan baru mengenai pengaruh perubahan tata guna lahan dan iklim terhadap dinamika hidrologi di DAS Bekasi. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana perubahan tata guna lahan dan iklim mempengaruhi sumber daya air di DAS Bekasi, dengan menggunakan model SWAT sebagai alat analisis utama.

Abstract

Competition for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) products is currently getting tougher, in terms of quality, timely delivery, and competitive prices. SME customers of bread and donut products sometimes complain about the visual quality of bread and donut products that are stale, burnt, and dirty. The purpose of this research is to reduce product defects during the production process and improve the quality of the bread and donut products. This research method uses a Kaizen approach combined with the Design of Experiment (DoE) one-shoot case study method and uses organoleptic tests to assess the quality of bread and donut products. This study found that there were 3 product defect problems, namely bread and donut defects that did not rise, burnt donut defects, bread defects, and dirty donuts. This research resulted in a decrease in defects of 65% from 3.84% to 1.07%. While the best DoE test results used dough type C with 10 grams fermipan/yeast composition and 15 grams bread improver, stove 165-1750C, equipment cleaning frequency 1 time for each dough, and organoleptic test with 10% beetroot extract addition resulted in a color aspect score of 70 %, 65% aroma aspect, 68.5% texture aspect, and 70% taste aspect which is liked by many people.

Abstract

Workplace accidents are a prevalent issue across various construction projects, including workshop development. To address this challenge, the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management is crucial. This study aims to evaluate the application of OHS management, with a focus on the utilization of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) methods to prevent workplace accidents during workshop construction projects. The research employs a qualitative field study approach. Data were collected through direct observations, interviews with workers, project managers, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) personnel, as well as through the analysis of relevant OHS documentation. The JSA implementation process was assessed at various stages, including hazard identification, control measure determination, and the implementation of preventive actions. The findings reveal that the average risk level associated with steel structure installation work is classified as moderate, with a percentage of 51%. Activities that present high to extreme risk levels are predominantly related to tasks performed at height, such as the installation of main beams, secondary beams, and rafters, with fall and impact hazards being significant concerns. To mitigate these risks, appropriate controls must be enforced, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), full-body harnesses, effective housekeeping practices, and the installation of signage and the isolation of hazardous work areas. These measures can effectively reduce risk levels from high and extreme to low and moderate.

Abstract

The market plays a crucial role in driving the economy and catering to the community’s needs. Pasar Baru Cikarang, located in the Bekasi Regency, serves as a significant market for the Cikarang area. Historically, Pasar Baru Cikarang was an impressive market that underwent construction and renovation in 1992, was completed in 1994, and commenced operations in 1995. However, the occurrence of looting events resulted in many traders resorting to street vending, leading to a decline in the market's appearance, which now appears shabby and untidy. This disrepair negatively impacts the primary area of Bekasi Regency, especially Cikarang, an ASEAN Industrial City. Considering the importance of having an architectural icon for an industrial city, the concept of industrial architecture becomes crucial. Industrial architecture embraces a minimalistic approach to final building finishing, making it an ideal choice for market buildings. Implementing this architectural concept in Pasar Baru Cikarang could revitalize the market's fading image and transform it into an iconic representation of the Industrial City. By emphasizing the industrial architecture concept in the renovation of Pasar Baru Cikarang, it is anticipated that the market's overall appeal will be enhanced, providing a boost to the local economy and reinstating its significance as a vital hub for the Cikarang area. This revitalization project can also contribute to the city's identity, further strengthening its position as an ASEAN Industrial City.
