Abstract

These problems gave birth to opinions about why certain tourism actors, particularly those who offer snorkeling at Nara Bay, Malaka Village, North Lombok Regency, are unable to learn English and excellence service. If we go deeper, we find that the lack of exposure to English and English is the main cause of the issue. The scarcity of English language training facilities that offer opportunities for language exposure poses a challenge for local tourism players. This activity uses mentoring and training for English language proficiency as well as guiding strategies for Snorkeling Guides. At the end of the training, 100% of participants used the language function in accompanying tourists and 100% had mastered guiding techniques in accordance with existing procedures such as explaining each function of snorkeling equipment, explaining how to breathe using a mask and demonstrating how to enter the water and swim using a mask. Snorkel your advice visitors not to handle potentially harmful marine life.

Abstract

Human resources are needed to further improve and develop skills that support their professions through various training activities. Likewise, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) need to improve their knowledge in skills in writing because Pokdarwis have a very important role in developing tourism in village through interpretive tourist guide. In general, this Community Service activity aims to develop Pokdarwis knowledge to complete storyline according to the theme and outline of the advantages of tourist attractions. The method of implementing this Community service activity is divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. Based on the results and discussions, it can be concluded that:1) Pokdarwis have the knowledge and ability to complete a storyline according to the theme and outline that are in accordance with the advantages and geotourism attractions; 2) Pokdarwis have the basic knowledge and ability to prepare the application of personal interpretation techniques that can be used in developing interpretations on the Geotourism routes of North Batukliang Tourism village; 3) Geopark Rinjani Lombok has a guide for interpretive tour guides of the geotourism routes in four North Batukliang villages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuai upaya apa yang dilakukan guest service agent dalam memaksimalkan efektifitas kerja di departemen front office, penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi Pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa untuk memaksimalkan kinerja di section guest service section di hotel Royal Ambarukmo Yogyakarta ada beberapa strategi yang diterapkan yaitu 1. Pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia, 2.Keuangan yang cukup untuk menunjang operasional, 3. Peralatan yang lengkap dan memadai, 4. Metode, 5.Mesin
