Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan ini adalah mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaran imajinatif pada siswa Kelas V SDN Loang Tuna. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan refisi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN Loang Tuna. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes tanya jawab, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Didapatkan hasil,bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu, siklus I (70,73%), siklus II (80,50%), siklus III (90,24%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah merode pembelajaran imajinatif dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar Siswa SDN Loang Tuna.

Abstract

Abstract

These problems gave birth to opinions about why certain tourism actors, particularly those who offer snorkeling at Nara Bay, Malaka Village, North Lombok Regency, are unable to learn English and excellence service. If we go deeper, we find that the lack of exposure to English and English is the main cause of the issue. The scarcity of English language training facilities that offer opportunities for language exposure poses a challenge for local tourism players. This activity uses mentoring and training for English language proficiency as well as guiding strategies for Snorkeling Guides. At the end of the training, 100% of participants used the language function in accompanying tourists and 100% had mastered guiding techniques in accordance with existing procedures such as explaining each function of snorkeling equipment, explaining how to breathe using a mask and demonstrating how to enter the water and swim using a mask. Snorkel your advice visitors not to handle potentially harmful marine life.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the feasibility of developing a macroscopic mushroom encyclopedia as a learning medium. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The research procedure adapted the ADDIE development model. The adaptation of the ADDIE model in this research was carried out at the encyclopedia validation stage. The encyclopedia validation test was carried out by two expert validators, namely a material expert validator and a media expert validator. Next, validators are asked to provide a general assessment and suggestions regarding the encyclopedia that has been developed, whether the encyclopedia is valid or invalid. Validation of the macroscopic fungal encyclopedia is in the very feasible category with a percentage of 92% by media expert validators and a percentage of 91% by material expert validators. The results of the validity test show the category is very feasible, which means that the resulting encyclopedia media does not need to be revised and is suitable for testing.

Abstract

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education has significantly transformed the teaching and learning process, particularly in language instruction. Among the various ICT tools, Google Meet has emerged as an innovative solution to enhance engagement and effectiveness in English language teaching, especially for young learners in junior high schools. This study aims to describe the English language teaching methods employed by English teachers to utilize Google Meet in junior high schools and identify the factors that hinder its use in the classroom. The research was conducted with English teachers at junior high schools, employing a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through teacher interviews and in-class observations, embracing both observational techniques and interviews. The gathered data were analyzed qualitatively through processes of reduction, data visualization, and comprehensive data analysis. To ensure the reliability of the data, researchers used triangulation methods. The findings of the study indicate that the use of Google Meet in junior high schools in Mataram is extensive, particularly with the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. Google Meet is employed for various purposes, from managing attendance to student activation and scoring systems. To support the integration of Google Meet and reduce uncertainties in the teaching-learning process, schools have provided facilities such as Wi-Fi, projectors, sound systems, and individual Google Meet accounts for each class. Despite these advancements, the study identified several factors and conditions that limit the use of Google Meet. These include time constraints, as each teaching subject is allocated only one hour per week, and established classroom practices that may resist the adoption of new technologies.

Abstract

Faktor terjadinya kecelakaan dalam berkendara karena tidakpahaman terhadap simbol rambu lalu lintas, tidak disiplin dan tidak berperilaku baik pada saat berkendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik operator transportasi truk, tingkat pemahaman terhadap rambu lalu lintas, pengaruh perilaku berkendara, kedisiplinan dan keselamatan. Survey dilakukan dengan membagikan angket kepada 200 orang responden mulai dari bulan September sampai November 2020 untuk kemudian dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS dengan model regresi logistik menggunakan Goodness of Fitness Test. Hasil penelitian untuk karakteristik yaitu responden dengan usia 21-35 tahun sebanyak 60%, yang memiliki SIM B1 sebanyak 98%, sedangkan yang pernah mengalami kecelakaan 1-3 kali sebanyak 5%. Adapun responden yang memahami simbol rambu lalu lintas sebesar 56% dan yang tidak sebesar 43%. Perilaku berkendara, kedisiplinan dan pengetahuan rambu lalu lintas mampu mempengaruhi keselamatan berkendara sebesar 51% dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran The power of two. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan lokasi penelitian di SMPN 4 Barebbo. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IX A dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang, teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dengan mengunakan analisis data deskriftif dengan mengunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I terdapat 13 siswa berada dalam kategori tidak tuntas dengan jumlah persentase 60% dan 10 siswa dikategorikan tuntas dari keseluruhan siswa dengan jumlah persentase 40%, pada siklus II terdapat 3 siswa yang hasil belajarnya berada dalam kategori tidak tuntas dengan persentase 15%, dan 20 siswa yang berada dalam ketegori tuntas dari keseluruhan siswa dengan persentase 85%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah dilaksanakan proses belajar mengajar dengan penerapan strategi pembelajaran The power of two mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMPN 4 Barebbo.

Abstract

Program Gerakan Kebersihan Wilayah dan Lingkungan (Gerakan JG-KWL) di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara merupakan kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kebersihan dan kualitas lingkungan dalam rangka mendukung program Adipura. Program ini diwujudkan melalui berbagai kebijakan dan strategi, seperti penerapan budaya bersih, pengelolaan sampah yang lebih terorganisir, serta peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Namun, berdasarkan pengamatan awal, implementasi program ini masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya fasilitas pembuangan sampah, rendahnya kepedulian masyarakat, minimnya sosialisasi, serta kurangnya pengawasan dan sanksi bagi pelanggar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan Program Gerakan Kebersihan Wilayah dan Lingkungan di Kecamatan Airmadidi, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, mengevaluasi, dan menganalisis kebijakan serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat teoritis sebagai referensi bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan tentang kebijakan lingkungan serta manfaat praktis bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan efektivitas program kebersihan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of code-switching in interactions between tour guides and tourists in the natural tourism area of Mount Rinjani. The research is motivated by the fact that most tourists visiting Rinjani come from various countries, prompting local guides to frequently switch between Indonesian, English, and local languages. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with ten trekking guides actively working in the Rinjani area. The findings reveal that code-switching is used as a communicative strategy to bridge language differences, foster social closeness, and enhance the comfort of information delivery. These results highlight the significance of bilingual competence in the tourism sector

Abstract

This research aimed to find what types of Students’ Communication Style in English Class At SMAN 1 SAKRA and what aspects that can affect students’ communication style in English Class At SMAN 1 SAKRA. This research used a qualitative research method. This research involved the 11th grade students of SMAN 1 SAKRA. There were approximately 35 respondents in Grade XI-C class of 2024. The result of Questionnaire and Document Checklist showed that there are two communication styles used by students in English class, namely Passive communication style and Assertive communication style. Where the total of Passive communication styles are 13 students (37.143%) and the total of Assertive communication styles are 22 students (62.857%). From the results of data analysis using personality test, questionnaires and document checklist, it was found that there are several aspects that can influence students' communication styles, namely in terms of Personality types showed that 80% extroverted that influenced Assertive Communication Style and 20% introverted that influenced Passive Communication style. And also 62,86% of students’ communication style influenced by Relationships, 20% influenced by Language Barriers and 51,43% influenced by Physical condition. Based on the findings, researcher expected to the teacher can create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable to expressing their thoughts and opinions without fear of being judged or ridiculed, so students can develop their English learning strategies through their communication style.
