Abstract

Metro ethernet is basically a large-scale data communication network, meaning that it can reach a large city using ethernet technology that is able to cover large distances equipped with various functions found on ethernet networks. Cisco packet tracker is a network simulation software issued by Cisco system that functions as a medium for learning, training and simulation research on computer networks. Therefore the authors simulated the design of the metro ethernet transport network using the Cisco Packet Tracker software application. The method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies by utilizing reading sources as a bibliography from the internet such as journals and books as well as designs made using the Cisco packet tracker software application

Abstract

Analysis Of The Use Of Flow Meter Equipment In Mixing Water And Lime At Pt Krakatau Tirta Industri. Flow meters are vital instruments in measuring and controlling fluid flow at PT Krakatau Tirta Industri, especially in mixing water and lime which affects product quality. This study analyses the effectiveness of electromagnetic flow meters in improving efficiency and maintaining mix ratio. Data were collected through direct observation and tool performance evaluation. The results show that electromagnetic flow meters provide high accuracy, reduce measurement errors, and improve production efficiency. Recommendations are given for periodic maintenance and calibration to maintain optimal performance.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a prototype of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based land watering monitoring system using the ESP8266 module and soil moisture sensor. This system is designed to help farmers manage watering automatically based on soil moisture conditions, so that they can save water and labor. The process at this time begins with a literature study, hardware and software design, to prototype testing on two soil conditions, namely dry and wet. Data from the sensor is sent in real-time to the IoT platform, if the soil is detected dry, the system automatically activates the water pump. The results of the test show that the sensor works accurately in distinguishing soil conditions, and the system is able to water automatically according to needs. Furthermore, this system can also be monitored and controlled remotely via the internet. The conclusion of this study shows that the use of IoT technology is very potential to increase efficiency and effectiveness in agricultural land management.
