Abstract

Abstract Educational institutions are the birthplace of the nation's intellectual generations, in maintaining educational institutions, of course, meeting the needs and expectations of the community towards education must be considered, thus the implementation of community involvement or school committees is needed. Where the purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of community involvement or committees can be implemented in reality. The research method in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the findings obtained by researchers on community involvement or school committees have been well implemented in MA Negeri 2 Bandung City by involving the committee in three ways, including in program planning by holding a meeting every year and inviting the committee to attend. Second, the involvement of the committee in the implementation of the program, this involvement can be in the form of attending the activities directly or providing support in the form of facilities, finance or thoughts. Third, involvement in program control or evaluation by providing direction, input, or evaluating funds that have been used in program implementation.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of deeply understanding and analyzing community involvement strategies in efforts to improve the quality of education at MAN 2 Bandung City. Qualitative approach descriptive method. The choice of this method is based on the need to deeply understand the complexity and dynamics of community involvement in the specific context of MAN 2 Bandung City. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation related to the community engagement strategy at MAN 2 Bandung City. The findings explain that there are 5 community involvement strategies in improving the quality of education at MAN 2 Bandung City, including intensive two-way communication strategies, community involvement in school program planning, empowerment of community potential as a source of learning, active community participation in school activities, strategic partnerships built by MAN 2 Bandung City with various parties have opened access to resources and expertise that enrich the education process. The strategy developed by MAN 2 Bandung offers a framework that can be adapted and replicated, with careful adjustments to the local context. This research has significant implications in improving the quality of Islamic education. However, this research only relies on what is obtained from the results of interviews and observations so that it lacks application in testing a theory related to community involvement in schools. So further research is needed to test the application of the theory of community involvement in schools.

Abstract

The use of e-learning in higher education has become a basic need, especially since the drastic changes in learning methods due to the pandemic. Islamic University of Nusantara Bandung faces challenges in optimizing the implementation of e-learning to maintain the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the strategy for the success of implementing e-learning by considering aspects of digital infrastructure readiness, lecturer competence, and student adaptability. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study was conducted through in-depth interviews with 25 lecturers and 150 students, direct observation of the online learning process, and documentation analysis for two academic semesters. The results of the study indicate that the success of e-learning at Islamic University of Nusantara Bandung is supported by three main pillars: continuous training for lecturers in the use of digital learning technology, development of interactive learning content tailored to student characteristics, and responsive technical support. Another interesting finding was the significant increase in student participation through online discussion forums which reached 85%, compared to conventional methods which were only 60%. This study also revealed that the integration of Islamic values ??in e-learning content has a positive impact on student learning motivation. These strategies have proven effective in increasing learning satisfaction by up to 78% based on student feedback surveys.

Abstract

Hukum Islam, atau Syariah, memainkan peran mendasar dalam membentuk kehidupan umat Islam di seluruh dunia. Studi ini mengeksplorasi perspektif hukum Islam melalui lensa sosiologi dan antropologi, menawarkan pendekatan multidimensi untuk memahami bagaimana prinsip-prinsip hukum diterapkan dan ditafsirkan dalam konteks sosial dan budaya yang berbeda. Dari sudut pandang sosiologi, hukum Islam bukan hanya sekedar seperangkat norma agama tetapi juga merupakan mekanisme kontrol sosial, pedoman moral, dan penataan kehidupan masyarakat. Secara antropologis, penelitian ini menggali beragam praktik dan adat istiadat dalam berbagai masyarakat Muslim, menyoroti bagaimana tradisi lokal, identitas etnis, dan pengalaman sejarah mempengaruhi interpretasi dan penerapan Syariah. Dengan mengkaji hukum Islam melalui disiplin-disiplin tersebut, penelitian ini mengungkap sifat dinamisnya, yang dibentuk oleh prinsip-prinsip agama universal dan faktor sosial budaya lokal. Interaksi antara hukum, masyarakat, dan budaya di dunia Islam menggarisbawahi kompleksitas sistem hukum dalam lingkungan multikultural dan global.

Abstract

The implementation of E-learning in Islamic higher education institutions presents unique challenges that require thorough investigation. This study explores the implementation of E-learning at Universitas Islam Nusantara (UNINUS) Bandung, focusing on its effectiveness, challenges, and integration with Islamic educational values. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that UNINUS has successfully implemented an E-learning model, positively impacting student academic quality and administrative efficiency. Three key factors contribute to its success: the development of comprehensive digital infrastructure, digital competency training for educators and students, and the integration of Islamic values in digital learning. However, challenges persist, such as improving the reliability of technical infrastructure and addressing varying levels of digital literacy among faculty and students. Additionally, resistance from some lecturers, due to limited technological skills and the need for further training, remains a significant obstacle. This study enriches the discourse on digital transformation in Islamic higher education and offers practical insights for other Islamic institutions aiming to adopt E-learning systems. It concludes that the successful implementation of E-learning in Islamic educational institutions requires a balanced approach that preserves traditional values while embracing technological advancements to enhance learning quality.

Abstract

In  the  4.0  era,  the  formation  of  student  character  is  very  important  because technological progress  is  unstoppable  and  information  can  spread  quickly. This research aims to find out how Islamic education strategies shape student character in the era of revolution 4.0. The research method used is descriptive with  a  qualitative-phenomenological  approach.  Data  analysis  uses  Miles  and Huberman's  interactive  model  through  four  stages,  which  include:  data collection,  data  reduction,  data  presentation,  and  drawing  conclusions.  The research results show that student character formation can be integrated with learning,  example,  a  good  environment,  and  habituation  which  is  closely related to character education. To build the character of his students, a teacher must  be  an  example  for  his  students.  Apart  from  that,  Islamic  religious education  contributes  to the  formation  of  students'  character  through  the following  activities:  (1)  Intracurricular  activities:  In  these  activities,  teachers incorporate  character  into  the  lessons  of  each  subject,  such  as  the  Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic Cultural History, Arabic Language, and Moral Creeds. In this  activity,  the  teacher  is  directly  connected  to  the  material  on  morality  or character.  (2)  Extracurricular  activities:  Tilawati  Several  traits  are  built through  these  two  types  of  activities:  religious,  honest,  likes  to read, responsible, independent, appreciates achievements, cares socially, and works hard.  The  students  are  ready  to  face  the  industrial  era  4.0  with  character. Islamic character will be formed by good cooperation between schools, parents and the community
