Abstract

TTanah merupakan salah satu material alam yang penting dalam dunia konstruksi. Tanah yang baik adalah tanah yang dapat menahan beban di atasnya tanpa menyebabkan penurunan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stabilitas tanah berdasarkan nilai daya dukung tanah dengan pencampuran abu ampas tebu dan molase. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental di laboratorium dan mengacu pada standar pengujian mekanika tanah yang berfokus pada nilai CBR (California Bearing Ratio). Variasi campuran molase yang digunakan adalah 5%, 10%, dan 15% serta abu ampas tebu sebesar 6%, 12%, dan 18%. Sampel tanah berasal dari daerah Lubuk Minturun dan Bukit Gado-gado Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa nilai CBR sampel tanah Lubuk Minturun dan Bukit Gado-Gado mengalami kenaikan menjadi 10,68% dan 9,34% dengan variasi campuran 5% molase + 6% abu ampas tebu dari sebelumnya nilai CBR tanah asli sebesar 9,69% dan 8,87%. Berdasarkan SNI 1744, kisaran nilai CBR 7-20 dikategorikan sebagai tanah yang mempunyai nilai daya dukung tanah sedang.

Abstract

The national road through Nagari Sungai Lansek, Sijunjung district (3 km long with an effective width of 7 meters) has a relatively high accident frequency where the total traffic accidents in the 2020-2022 range are always increasing. The aim of this research is to identify the factors that contribute to accidents at the research location. Specifically, the research locations are divided into three areas, namely Jorong Cilacap, Jorong Sikayan, and Jorong Sungai Ampang. The characteristics of the accidents observed are the type of accident, time of the accident, type of vehicle, and location of the accident. The analytical approach used in this research is the AEK (Accident Equivalent Analysis) method and correlation techniques. Based on the time of occurrence, the most diverse accidents were found between 06.00-19.00 with a total of 20 cases. Based on the type of vehicle most frequently involved in accidents, data was obtained on private cars and trucks for 17 cases. The type of accident that occurred most frequently was frontal collision with 11 cases. Based on the geographical context of the incident, a total of 11 incidents were observed in the Sungai Ampang area where driver factors contributed to a total of 17 incidents. The age range of drivers involved in accidents ranges from 16-30 years. Efforts to mitigate traffic accidents in the research area include implementing traffic education initiatives as well as implementing strict sanctions for road users who violate traffic regulations. Providing education regarding correct driving techniques and etiquette in traffic, as well as understanding the importance of traffic signs needs to be carried out in line with the provision of signs and improving road lighting at the study location.

Abstract

Likuifaksi merupakan salah satu fenomena geoteknik yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan struktural serius, khususnya pada wilayah dengan kondisi tanah jenuh dan aktivitas seismik tinggi seperti Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi likuifaksi di lima lokasi berbeda melalui pengujian laboratorium dan pendekatan empiris menggunakan kurva Tsuchida serta Chinese Criteria. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di GOR H. Agus Salim, Kampus 1 dan 2 Institut Teknologi Padang, Lubuk Lintah, dan Parak Karakah. Pengujian meliputi analisis saringan, kadar air, batas Atterberg, berat jenis dan berat isi kering. Hasil klasifikasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh sampel tergolong pasir seragam (SP) dengan kadar butiran halus <5%. Analisis Tsuchida mengindikasikan dua lokasi memiliki potensi likuifaksi tinggi, sedangkan tiga lokasi lainnya berada dalam zona transisi hingga tidak likuifaksi. Evaluasi Chinese Criteria menunjukkan bahwa tiga lokasi memenuhi kriteria potensi likuifaksi tinggi berdasarkan nilai LL < 35%, PI < 10, dan rasio wc/LL > 0,8. Hasil evaluasi ini divisualisasikan dalam bentuk peta lokasi berdasarkan koordinat geografis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemetaan awal zona rawan likuifaksi dan dapat dijadikan referensi mitigasi risiko geoteknik di kawasan perkotaan.

Abstract

The landslide disaster in the Nagari Aia Winter area, Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency, which was caused by high-intensity rain and other factors, is thought to be due to mining activities in the area which caused the contour of the land there to become unstable. This research aims to analyze the soil characteristic values on the slopes, analyze the Safety Factor (FK) values of the slopes and analyze appropriate mitigation for landslide disasters in Nagari Aia Winter, Lembah Gumanti District. The research method used is a quantitative approach. From the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that the characteristics of the soil on the slope include a type of silty sand soil with poor gradation and calculations using the Geostudio Slope/W 2012 program show the Safety Factor (FK) value of the slope in Nagari Aia Winter, Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency by simulating using angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, 70°, it was found that the Safety Factor (FK) value < 1.5, the slope was included in an unstable condition. These slopes are dangerous and can cause landslides in the future. Mitigation efforts that can be carried out are structural mitigation by building retaining walls or stone slabs and drainage at landslide locations, mapping slopes or sloping steep slopes and making permanent connecting bridges. Non-structural mitigation can take the form of providing information related to landslide-prone zones, and conducting outreach at several locations that have landslide-prone impacts.
