Abstract

As an ability that every individual student must have according to the rules of the national education system, learning independence includes the ability to learn independently and develop their personal abilities. However, in reality the world of education in Indonesia is still relatively low and many students lack the ability to learn independently. This research highlights the urgency of increasing student learning independence as a solution to ensuring educational success in an era full of complexity and rapid change. Descriptive quantitative with correlative or correlational research methods is this research approach. The research population was all 102 MTs Bi'rul Ulum students with a sample of 36 taken using random sampling techniques. A closed questionnaire is used as a means of collecting data in the form of a likert scale. In the research results, it is known that self-efficacy has more influence on learning independence than learning motivation. The results show that self-efficacy has a significant effect on learning outcomes, learning motivation also has a significant effect on learning independence, and self-efficacy and learning motivation are also known to have an effect on learning independence. The higher a student's level of self-efficacy, the more their learning independence will increase. In addition, learning motivation encourages students to learn with enthusiasm and curiosity, thereby increasing their learning independence. Students who have high learning motivation will tend to be interested in exploring various topics and learning materials independently, without having to rely on instructions from teachers or encouragement from parents.

Abstract

Today's rapid and sophisticated technological advances have created problems. Without being accompanied by moral fortification from the school or family, it can have a negative impact on students. Moral degradation is currently an increasingly worrying problem, including in Indonesia, which is caused by the negative influence of western culture and thought patterns, which are normalized by information technology and lead to various actions that are contrary to religion and even criminal in nature. Various phenomena related to the decline in ethics in society, especially juvenile delinquency, are proof that moral education needs to be strengthened in education system. Tazkiyyatun nafs purification of the soul taught by Imam Al Ghazali is a very rich and comprehensive concept of moral education. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze how moral education is in the concept of tazkiyatun nafs from AL-Ghazali's perspective, as well as the relevance of moral education from tazkiyatun nafs from Al-Ghazali's perspective in overcoming the moral decline of today's young generation. A qualitative approach was used in this research to obtain in-depth results through literature study. The results show that Imam Al-Ghazali developed the concept of tazkiyatun nafs, which means purification of the soul through cleansing oneself of despicable traits and replacing them with habituation to praiseworthy traits. Apart from that, Al-Ghazali's thoughts are a reference in dealing with current educational problems, where students' behavior often does not reflect moral values. By integrating the concept of tazkiyatun nafs, the education system can form a generation that has faith, noble character and piety, according to what Al-Ghazali emphasized regarding the importance of forming moral character through education which is actualized through habituation and example.

Abstract

Caring for a corpse is an action that needs to be learned because in the Islamic religion it is obligatory if there is no one to carry it out. This community service aims to increase understanding about corpse care in theory and increase understanding about corpse care in practice at the Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School, Tambak Lekok Village and Darun Najah MTs, Tampung Lekok Village, Pasuruan. Basic research on this service activity was carried out using the Participatory Action Research method. The results of this service show that students at the Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School, Tambak Lekok Village and students at MTs Darun Najah, Tampung Lekok Village, Pasuruan have increased their understanding of theoretical and practical corpse care.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan citra dan potensi Desa Tambak Lekok di Kecamatan Lekok, Kabupaten Pasuruan melalui penerapan video iklan layanan masyarakat (ILM). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) yang berfokus pada identifikasi dan pemanfaatan aset serta potensi lokal desa, khususnya di sektor perikanan dan pariwisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan video ILM secara signifikan berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap potensi desa, menarik minat wisatawan, dan memperbaiki citra desa secara keseluruhan. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pembuatan video juga memperkuat rasa memiliki terhadap desa. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, diperlukan evaluasi berkala, peningkatan kualitas produksi, dan pemanfaatan media sosial yang lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Villages throughout Indonesia, such as Tambak Lekok, Jatirejo, and Tampung, have abundant natural potential and human resources, which, if utilized well, can improve the welfare of the local population. However, even though this potential is large, it is often not explored optimally due to various obstacles, including limited basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity and clean water. Apart from that, accessibility to information, which is very crucial in the digital era, is still limited in many villages. Digital mapping offers an important solution in overcoming this obstacle, because through this technology, village communities can more easily access relevant information about their area, which was previously difficult to reach due to limited infrastructure and technology. Through digital mapping, detailed information regarding the location of various public facilities such as schools, health centers, places of worship and markets can be accessed quickly and accurately. The implementation of digital mapping in villages such as Tambak Lekok, Jatirejo, and Tampung via the Google Maps application has proven to be an effective initiative in maximizing local potential and encouraging sustainable development. This project not only increases the accessibility and visibility of the village, but also introduces digital technology to the community, thereby strengthening their involvement in the development process. With the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, local village assets have been successfully mapped and promoted to a wider audience, opening up new opportunities in the economic, tourism and public service sectors. This approach allows villages to more optimally utilize their resources and benefit from greater involvement in markets and information networks.

Abstract

Service efficiency is an important aspect that supports operational success, especially in the midst of limited resources and increasing demand. Optimizing the use of resources is necessary to maintain optimal service performance and quality. Technology plays a vital role in improving efficiency, enabling organizations to maintain service quality despite existing limitations. Sunan Giri University Surabaya, as a higher education institution, is trying to improve service efficiency by organizing a campus plan. This program aims to facilitate new students and visitors in finding locations in the campus environment more quickly and precisely. Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this program involves active participation from the academic community to create efficient navigation solutions. The plan boards installed at strategic points on campus are expected to improve user comfort and experience, reduce confusion, and support more effective academic and administrative activities. This initiative is expected to improve the overall quality of campus services.

Abstract

Education is a key aspect in shaping a high-quality generation capable of competing in the era of globalization and rapid change. Therefore, MA Hasyim Asy’ari Sukodono continuously strives to improve its educational quality through the development of student discipline and the strengthening of the learning system. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of learning discipline and teacher competence on students' academic achievement at MA Hasyim Asy’ari. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, involving the entire student population of 141 individuals in the 2025/2026 academic year, selected through a census technique. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression, which revealed that both learning discipline and teacher competence have a positive and significant partial effect on student achievement, with learning discipline having a more dominant influence. Simultaneously, the two variables significantly contribute to academic performance. These results highlight the importance of instilling learning discipline as a core value through habituation programs, attitude assessments, and active involvement of teachers and parents. In parallel, improving teacher competence should be prioritized through regular training, targeted performance evaluations, and strengthened collaboration via internal MGMP forums to ensure effective learning processes that directly impact student achievement. The implications of this study provide a strategic foundation for policy development aimed at enhancing educational quality within madrasah environments.

Abstract

The level of progress of a nation significantly depends on the quality of education, which is reflected in the success of the learning process. Teachers, the learning environment, and students' internal conditions are among the primary factors contributing to the success of the learning process. This study aims to determine the significant influence of teacher competence, the learning environment, and academic stress on the academic performance of students at MTs Bi’rul Ulum, Gemurung, Gedangan, Sidoarjo. The research employed a quantitative survey method with a population of 115 students, all of whom were included as samples using a total sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study revealed that teacher competence has a significant positive effect on students' academic performance, the learning environment was found to have an insignificant effect, while academic stress showed a significant influence on students' academic performance at MTs Bi’rul Ulum, Gemurung, Sidoarjo. The contribution of this research enriches the discourse on education by examining the impact of teacher competence, learning environment, and academic stress on student performance in the context of Islamic junior high school setting, which has not been extensively discussed in the previous literature.

Abstract

Kemerosotan moral, penurunan jati diri bangsa dan hilangnya nilai-nilai luhur di kalangan pemuda merupakan tantangan yang mendesak. Pola pikir, sikap, dan perilaku generasi muda sangat dipengaruhi oleh arus informasi global yang didominasi oleh budaya asing. Generasi muda, sebagai penerus bangsa, sering kali terpapar pada berbagai pengaruh negatif yang dapat mengikis akhlak dan karakter religius mereka. Maka, usaha untuk peningkatan karakter religius pada anak usia muda yang menjadi generasi penerus sangat penting dilakukan. Seni al-banjari atau dikenal juga dengan sebutan habsyi merupakan salah satu seni tradisi Islam. Kesenian al-banjari ini meliputi lantunan syair, nasyid, dan pembacaan sholawat-sholawat kepada nabi disertai bunyi gendang atau rebana yang terdengar. Puisi dalam seni al-banjari memuat sholawat atau ucapan syukur yang ditujukan kepada nabi Muhammad SAW. Kesenian al-banjari biasanya ditampilkan pada saat hari raya Islam, antara lain tabligh akbar dan peringatan maulid nabi. Pelaksana melihat adanya potensi yang dimiliki santri, masyarakat, anak-anak dan remaja di sekitar dalam majelis dan pelatihan hadrah. Santri yang tergolong masih dalam jenjang sekolah dasar terlihat antusias untuk bermain banjari. Oleh karena itu, mereka perlu dibimbing agar meningkatkan seni religius, cinta pada Rosulullah serta bisa bermain banjari dengan benar yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup sesuai dengan yang diajarkan oleh Rosulullah SAW.
