Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas program pendampingan Ngaji Bersama (Ngabers) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan baca Al-Qur'an pada anak-anak TPQ Al-Amin Desa Pasinan, Kecamatan Lekok, Pasuruan. Dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan ini melibatkan santri dan pengajar di TPQ sebagai agen utama, sementara tim pengabdian bertindak sebagai fasilitator. Program ini fokus pada pembelajaran Al-Qur'an dengan metode Iqro', yang mencakup berbagai materi seperti bacaan Al-Qur'an, sholat, tahlil, diba'iyyah, dan kitab kuning. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui monitoring capaian dan ujian kenaikan jilid. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ngaji bersama berjalan lancar dan memberikan dampak positif. Anak-anak desa Pasinan menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an, dan program ini berhasil memotivasi mereka untuk belajar di luar jam sekolah. Meskipun ada tantangan terkait usia santri yang masih muda dan keterbatasan sarana, dukungan dari pemilik TPQ, ustadz-ustadzah, dan antusiasme santri menjadi faktor pendukung utama. Program ini dinyatakan berhasil karena memenuhi tujuan yang diharapkan dan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembelajaran agama di masyarakat.

Abstract

Mathematics for elementary school students is useful for the interests of life in their environment, to develop their mindset, and to study later sciences. The usefulness or benefits of mathematics for elementary school students are clear and does not need to be questioned anymore, especially in the era of development of science and technology today. Based on ATP mathematics students can explain the steps to solve mathematical sentences with subtraction and addition on whole numbers up to 100. The purpose of this study is to provide students with an understanding of the concept of mathematical sentences using Wayang PERANG media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 28 students of grade III SDN Klurak Candi Sidoarjo. There are two sources of data used in this study, namely written test questions and interview results (as primary data sources) and documentation (as secondary data sources). Data analysis is in the form of data triangulation of test results, interviews, and observation results. The results of the study showed that the value of category 3 student abilities with a score of 76≤100 had a percentage value of 80.26%, and a score of 61≤75 still had 19.73% while a score of 0≤60 was still at the highest percentage value of 10.53%.

Abstract

Learning the book of fathul qorib is a learning process that is usually carried out in Islamic boarding schools and Islamic education institutions, especially at Langitan Islamic Boarding School. This book is one of the most popular books of fiqh, the work of Sheikh Muhammad bin Qosim al-Ghazi which is the sharah of the book of taqrib which is usually called matan abi syuja'. This research aims to reveal: 1) Improved understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. 2) Learning the Book of Fathul Qorib to Improve Understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. 3) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Learning the Book of Fathul Qorib in Increasing Understanding of Fiqh at MTs Al-Falahiyah. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study on the implementation of learning the Fathul Qorib book in improving understanding of Islamic jurisprudence at MTs Al-Falahiyah, Langitan Widang Islamic Boarding School, Tuban showed that: 1) learning the Fathul Qorib book in improving understanding of Islamic jurisprudence went well and effectively, students' understanding of Islamic jurisprudence can be improved by studying the book. Fathul Qorib uses several methods, including muroja'ah and deliberation. 2) Learning the Fathul Qorib book at MTs Al-Falahiyah is realized well by implementing several varied methods, including classical, sorogan, wetonan, and lectures, teaching and learning activities of the book fathul qorib runs smoothly and effectively. 3) Supporting factors, such as teacher competence and appropriate learning methods can provide positive contributions to student understanding. However, there are also inhibiting factors that need to be addressed through evaluation and adjustment of strategies by teachers to continue to improve the process learning the book Fathul Qorib and overcoming existing obstacles.

Abstract

Caring for a corpse is an action that needs to be learned because in the Islamic religion it is obligatory if there is no one to carry it out. This community service aims to increase understanding about corpse care in theory and increase understanding about corpse care in practice at the Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School, Tambak Lekok Village and Darun Najah MTs, Tampung Lekok Village, Pasuruan. Basic research on this service activity was carried out using the Participatory Action Research method. The results of this service show that students at the Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School, Tambak Lekok Village and students at MTs Darun Najah, Tampung Lekok Village, Pasuruan have increased their understanding of theoretical and practical corpse care.

Abstract

The free health check outreach program which was held on August 19 2024 in the environment around campus aims to increase awareness and knowledge of the health of the surrounding community. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), this program involves students and residents in the environment around Sunan Giri University Surabaya. The results of the outreach show that it has succeeded in increasing health awareness and knowledge among the community. The success of this program is supported by the use of clear and interactive communication techniques, and also indicates the need for adjustments in information delivery methods for various audience groups. These findings suggest the need for the development of more inclusive health intervention models and studies of the long-term impacts of such programs to strengthen positive outcomes on public health.

Abstract

Promiscuity, violent crime, corruption, manipulation, fraud, and other disgraceful acts are some examples of the daily lives of people who have lost their morals. This shows bad behavior and despicable morals. The Arabic term "akhlaq" comes from the single word "khuluq", which means actions, both praiseworthy and despicable. Moral learning can be found in various educational institutions such as schools and especially in Islamic boarding schools, such as the Al-Jihad Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya. This research aims to find out the method of learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an and how it influences the character or morals of students, as well as how they are accepted and face challenges. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which means data is collected through a process of interviews, documentation and observation. There are three stages in analyzing data: condensing data, presenting data, and concluding. In this research, it was found that the Al-Quran tahfidz program at the Al-Jihad Surabaya student Islamic boarding school was carried out every Monday to Friday in the evening; On Saturdays at the end of each month, this program is only held in the morning. The activity begins by reading a prayer together. Then, people took turns coming forward to the listening ustadz to listen to the ziyadah or murojaah memorizing the Koran. The listening ustadz then assessed and encouraged them, and the activity closed with a group prayer. The existence of the tahfidz learning method forms a Qur'anic, skilled, intelligent and knowledgeable soul. They also become noble in character. Apart from the environment, lack of family attention, too much use of social media, and lack of self-encouragement, this tahfidz learning strategy faces many challenges. The strategy of learning Al-Quran tahfidz used at the Al-Jihad Surabaya student Islamic boarding school aims to produce students who are responsive, insightful, proficient and have noble behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at SMA Wahid Hasyim II Taman. The research focus includes the PBL implementation process, student learning outcomes, and factors that influence the success of PBL implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and students, classroom learning observations, as well as documentation of learning outcomes and learning planning. The research results show that the implementation of PBL has been effective and has had a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes. Students show improvements in learning activities, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills. The successful implementation of PBL is supported by the selection of authentic problems, teacher readiness in designing learning, and active involvement of students. Even though there are obstacles such as limited time and student adaptation to new learning models, the strategies implemented by teachers have proven to be effective in overcoming these challenges. This research makes an important contribution to the development of problem-based learning practices at the high school level

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in fiqh subjects at SMA Islam Parlaungan Waru Sidoarjo. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of PBL was carried out through several stages: orienting students to the problem, organizing to analyze, finding solutions, and developing and evaluating results. This model proved effective in improving three main aspects of students' critical thinking, namely the ability to distinguish fact and fiction, distinguish constructive and destructive criticism, and the ability to make decisions from the results of problem solving. In addition, the application of PBL also provides space for students to actively discuss, enrich literacy, and develop self-confidence. Supporting factors for the successful implementation of this model include teacher readiness, adequate learning media and learning environment support. However, there were also obstacles such as time constraints and differences in student characters. In general, PBL is effective in fostering students' critical thinking, especially in understanding and applying fiqh material contextually

Abstract

Pembelajaran Al Quran merupakan suatu proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas bacaan Al Quran. Kemahiran dalam membaca Al Quran tidak terlepas dari sebuah langkah-langkah yang dilakukan termasuk di dalamnya adalah sebuah metode yang digunakan, terlebih pada pembelajaran anak usia dini. Maka dari itu peneliti memberikan sebuah kontribusi sebagai bentuk sumbangsih dalam sebuah pendidikan di lingkungan masyarakat berupa inovasi pembelajaran Al Quran metode talqin ittiba' dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas bacaan Al Quran pada Santri di TPQ Baitul Quran Bungurasih Sidoarjo. Metode talqin ittiba’ merupakan sebuah metode dalam membaca Al Quran dengan cara guru membacakan, siswa mendengarkan serta menirukan. Metode ini sangat tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas bacaan Al Quran pada santri di TPQ Baitul Quran Bungurasih Sidoarjo. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang terjadi pada santri di TPQ Baitul Quran Bungurasih Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Abstract Pembentukan karakter melalui kajian kitab washoya merupakan sebuah usaha yang dilakukan guru untuk memperbaiki dan memperbaharui suatu tindakan atau tingkah laku seorang santri melalui bimbingan jiwa sehingga memiliki kepribadian yang baik, akhlak terpuji dan bertanggung jawab dalam menjalani kehidupannya. Melalui kajian kitab Washoya, santri TPQ Baitul Quran Bungurasih Sidoarjo mampu mengimplementasikan dalam kehidupan kesehariannya dimanapun berada. Kitab washoya merupakan kitab yang isinya memuat pelajaran dasar tentang akhlak yang sangat dibutuhkan santri untuk menghadapi masa depan yang lebih baik dengan penanaman karakter pada mereka. Kegiatan kajian kitab Washoya di lingkungan masyarakat tersebut menggunakan metode Asset  Based  Community  Developmen (ABCD). Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan pembentukan karakter yang dimiliki oleh santri tersebut sehingga tumbuh pembiasaan akhlak yang baik pula serta diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh bagi lembaga lain untuk mengimplementasikan pembentukan nilai karakter melalui kajian kitab Washoya.
