Abstract

The development of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is currently increasingly sophisticated, with its rapid progress making it easier for humans to do their work. One of the advances in current technology is its ability to run a tool automatically. Automation also plays an important role in the field of fish farming, where businesses are challenged to innovate in the face of the industrial revolution. The concept of modern fish farming involves automatic feeding based on a predetermined time. This allows fish farm owners to feed regularly and consistently. The research method used is a systematic literature review, by collecting data from the Google Scholar database. By using the keywords ("Automatic Fish Feed" AND "IoT"), 402 articles were obtained and then selected to get 20 articles that are relevant to the topic taken for analysis. This literature study provides an in-depth understanding of the trends and challenges in the development of IoT-based automatic fish feed devices. This article provides an overview of the development of automated fish feed. It can be concluded that automated fish feed uses one of the microcontrollers such as Arduino Uno or Arduino Nano, NodeMCU ESP8266, and Wemos D1R1 or Wemos D1 mini. Overall, the researchers have made an automatic fish feed with time accuracy that is in accordance with what has been set before.

Abstract

Sejangat Village is one of the villages in Bukit Batu District, Bengkalis Regency. Sejangat Village has land and village infrastructure that is quite complete. However, only a few people understand the land use and use of existing infrastructure in this village. In this era of technological progress, we are required to be able to access information quickly and in a wider scope. So a map is needed that can access the location, land use, existing facilities and infrastructure. This aims to provide village governments and communities with information and improve skills to manage regional development. The method used in making this map is field survey by service students, preparation and making of the map. This activity produces a village map which contains comprehensive information about land, location, regional boundaries, water areas, facilities and infrastructure in the village geospatially. The existence of a village map makes it possible to utilize new land and improve facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, the presentation of maps needs to be done over time to update village conditions. Apart from that, increasing the knowledge and skills of village officials regarding the management of village areas and infrastructure so that they can create a well-organized village with good administrative order in Sejangat Village, Bukit Batu District, Bengkalis Regency. Abstract

Nanocellulose is widely applied in various fields due to its superior characteristics. Several methods have been developed to synthesize it, but they still have limitedness as being non-eco-friendly and inefficient use. Therefore, the synthesis of nanocellulose from sustainable sources is being developed using a simple and eco-friendly method. This study successfully produced a low viscosity gel suspension of cellulose nanofibers (CNF) from bacterial cellulose (BC) derived from Nata de Coco using a high shear mixer (HSM). The mixture of BC and water in a 1:1 ratio was processed with various rotational speeds and times in the HSM. The suspension result was characterized using an Ostwald viscometer, UV-vis spectrophotometer, lux meter, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), particle size analyzer (PSA), and x-ray diffraction (XRD). Based on the characterization, it was confirmed that higher rotational speeds and extended processing times reduced the suspension viscosity and increased light transmittance, indicating a reduction in BC size to the submicron/nanometer scale. The best light transmittance was achieved with the HSM at 4500 rpm for 180 min, resulting in a viscosity drop from 232.67 mPa.s to 1.45 mPa.s. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that the CNF retained its fibrous structure with nanometer-scale widths and high porosity without significant changes in crystallinity.
