Abstract

ABSTRACT Over the last few years it has been known that there is a lack of employee performance at Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata Semarang. The phenomenon and the differences in the results of research on transfer of training, motivation, and transformational style of leadership are the basis of the problem why this research was conducted. This study uses primary data obtained from direct interviews and distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. This study used multiple linear regression analysis resulted in the finding that transfer of training has a significant positive effect on employee performance, motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, and transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT The electric vehicle (EV) and EV battery (EVB) industry in Indonesia is in its early stages of development, with key players such as Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC), an Indonesian-based battery company, and Hyundai, South Korea’s largest automotive manufacturer. This research applies the National Competitive Advantage theory to explore the impact of the Indonesia-South Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IK-CEPA) on this emerging sector. This research examines the impact of the IK-CEPA on Indonesia's nascent electric vehicle (EV) and EV battery (EVB) industry. Key influencers for EV and EVB growth include government incentives, charging infrastructure, green energy adoption, and fluctuating gas prices. Open-ended interviews were conducted with appropriate respondents working in related industry. Findings reveal that current government incentives boost EV adoption, yet the broader EV and EVB sector in Indonesia remains emergent. The IK-CEPA bolsters the industry by fostering economic collaboration between Indonesia and South Korea, attracting significant investments from leading South Korean EV and EVB corporations. However, the industry's advancement is curtailed by inadequate charging infrastructure, particularly outside Jakarta. For widespread EV adoption, consumer concerns such as charging facilities, market variety, and total cost of ownership need addressing. This study advocates for an internalized value chain in Indonesia's EV sector, emphasizing cost efficiency and attracting foreign EV enterprises. Through the IK-CEPA, the mutual benefits of technology exchange, cost reductions, and market accessibility can considerably enhance Indonesia's position in the global EV industry

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze and to study the Minister of Energy, Resource, and Mineral’s Regulation Number 08 of 2017 about Gross Split in relation to Article 33 of 1945 Constitution. This normative law research was descriptive –analytical in nature. Technique of collecting data used was library study by examining documents and literatures used in this research. Technique of analyzing data used was normative qualitative one, studying by means of interpreting and constructing statement existing in legislation document. The result of research showed that gross split scheme in Minister of Energy, Resource, and Mineral’s Regulation Number 08 of 2017 was compatible to Article 33 of 1945 Constitution. Article 2 clause (1) of Minister of Energy, Resource, and Mineral’s Regulation Number 08 of 2017 governed that the ownership of natural resource remained to be on government’s hand until transfer period. In gross split profit sharing contract system, petroleum, gas, and natural resource belonged to State until transfer period; thus production profit sharing approved in the contract would be conducted in transfer period. Gross split could give more profit to the state because government should no longer reimburse contractor operating cost included into State Income and Expenditure Budget (APBN) so far.
