Abstract

Technology that is increasingly becoming more developed and advanced makes people's activities easier. Internet technology that is increasingly sophisticated gives birth to social media that at this time cannot be separated from our lives. Social media has a positive impact on society, especially for those who have businesses. Social media is currently widely used by business people to market the products they sell. Derr Cosmetics is one of the sales businesses in the field of skincare and cosmetics located in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan which participates in utilizing social media to market its products. By utilizing social media in marketing its products, Derr Cosmetics managed to increase its sales volume to be larger and have many customers.

Abstract

Pasar Ramadhan is an MSME business that sells various kinds of culinary or snacks that are very popular with the community. Food and drinks are sold such as fried meatballs, chips, cakes, boba, lemon tea, chicken noodles, grilled chicken, satay, and so on. This journal article was created to discuss SWOT analysis in an effort to develop a culinary business in the Ramadan market. This study aims to identify internal and external factors that influence culinary business development in the Ramadan market and provide recommendations for appropriate business development strategies. The research method used is descriptive analysis by collecting data through interviews with traders and visitors to the Ramadan market as well as through literature study. The results of the study show that internal factors such as product quality, price and promotion influence the culinary business development in the Ramadan market, while external factors such as market conditions, competition and regulations also play an important role in the culinary business development in the Ramadan market. Recommendations for the right business development strategy include improving product quality, price adjustments, and increasing promotions to increase the attractiveness of the culinary business in the Ramadan market. In addition, traders are also advised to pay attention to market conditions and existing competition and comply with applicable regulations to optimize culinary business development in the Ramadan market.

Abstract

Inflation in Central Kalimantan is a rise in the cost of products and services that occurs generally in all countries or regions. Inflation can have a major impact on Central Kalimantan's economic expansion. It seeks to look into how inflation and economic growth are related in Central Kalimantan from 2011-2021. Simple regression is used in this study. The inflation variable (X) has a positive regression coefficient (B) of 0.320 in the t-test, or partial significance test, with a significance threshold of 0.076 or greater than the 0.05 significance level. Inflasi variable greater than 0.556, or 55.5%, has a detrimental effect on economic expansion, and 100 percent less than 55.5% equals 44.5%. According to these findings, rising inflation will have an adverse effect on Central Kalimantan's economic growth from 2011 to 2021. In other words, economic growth will slow down when inflation increases.

Abstract

This research evaluates the business feasibility of Café 1960 in Palangka Raya by analyzing its technical, financial, and market aspects. The study highlights strategic location, efficient operational management, and distinctive market characteristics as key contributors to the café's success. Financially, the café demonstrates strong feasibility, with a Payback Period of 7 months, a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp107,550,555, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 42.91%. The café leverages unique menus and locally oriented marketing strategies to sustain market share amidst moderate competition. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings underline the importance of local market dynamics in smaller urban settings, offering insights into sustainable business practices for similar ventures in developing regions. This research contributes to the field by presenting a comprehensive feasibility analysis that integrates technical, financial, and market perspectives, focusing on the specific context of Palangka Raya's growing café industry.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of religious values, social pressure, and product awareness in the ethical consumption decisions of Muslim and non-Muslim communities in Palangka Raya concerning products associated with Israel. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involves in-depth interviews with respondents from both communities. The findings indicate that ethical consumption decisions among Muslims are influenced by a combination of religious values and social pressure. For them, the decision to boycott certain products reflects both religious beliefs and social solidarity. In contrast, the non-Muslim community demonstrates a more pragmatic approach to consumption decisions, which is primarily based on economic factors such as price and product quality. Social media plays a significant role in disseminating information and reinforcing solidarity among Muslims, whereas the non-Muslim community tends to be more selective in the information they consider on this issue. This study contributes to the understanding of how religious values and social pressures can shape ethical consumption behavior within a diverse religious society.

Abstract

The study examines the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) strategy in developing Ka mbariat Tuah Pahoe Campsite as an ecotourism destination in Central Kalimantan. Using a mixed-method approach combining quantitative analysis through logistic regression and qualitative descriptive analysis, this research evaluates the effectiveness of community involvement and environmental sustainability in increasing tourist visits. The quantitative findings, supported by a goodness-of-fit test (Hosmer-Lemeshow test p-value: 0.7861) and model accuracy of 91.34%, demonstrate that both community ownership and management (coefficient: 0.413853) and environmental sustainability (coefficient: 0.664741) positively influences visitation rates. Qualitative analysis reveals that the visitor demographic is predominantly young adults aged 18-22 years, indicating potential for youth-oriented tourism development. The study concludes that CBT implementation at Kambariat Tuah Pahoe shows significant promise, particularly when focusing on community empowerment and environmental sustainability, although requiring strategic planning for optimal economic benefit distribution and sustainable environmental management.

Abstract

This istudy aimsi to analyze thei development of the usei of a non-cashi payment systemi using QRIS in thei City of Palangka Raya ini the erai of theiindustrial 4.0. Theimethod usediis aisurvey through questionnaires to users and merchants who use QRIS as a payment system. Thei collected datai were analyzedi using descriptiveistatistical techniquesiand factorianalysis toiidentify theifactorsithat influenceithe useiof QRISiin Palangkai RayaiCity. The results of the study show that the use of QRIS in Palangka Raya City has experienced significant developments in the last two years. Factorsithat influenceithe use ofi QRISi are ease of use, transaction security, and financial benefits. The implication ofi the resultsi of thisi study isi that therei is a needi to improve education andi outreach about using QRIS as an alternative to non-cash payment systems in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

This research examines the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the national economy and their importance in the context of globalization. The study acknowledges the significant influence of the economic sector as a measure of success for governments in the era of globalization. The dominant presence of MSMEs in the Indonesian economy highlights their strategic role in national development, particularly in economic progress. Despite economic crises, MSMEs have demonstrated resilience and continued growth, proving their ability to withstand challenging circumstances. Additionally, MSMEs have been instrumental in providing employment opportunities and contributing to increased income levels, thus playing a crucial role in reducing unemployment and poverty. The findings emphasize the need for continued government support and strengthening measures to optimize the role of MSMEs as a fundamental pillar in national economic development. This research contributes to understanding the vital contribution and strategic significance of MSMEs in shaping the nation's economy in the context of globalization

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yang sangat menarik, melihat pengaruh inflasi, pendapatan asli daerah , dan pengangguran terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Palangka Raya tahun 2014 sampai dengan tahun 2020. Data sekunder yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa time series tahunan dan alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil yang di peroleh bahwa Inflasi, PAD, dan pengangguran tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.sedangkan hasil uji secara sendiri-sendiri inflasi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Palangka Raya.Sebaliknya, PAD dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi
