Abstract

Folklore as an oral heritage that is entrenched in the community has values that can increase understanding of legends and culture and move people's awareness of the importance of life values. One of them is folklore related to the natural environment. In Indonesia, folklore is not only an oral tradition that is told but also formalized in the education curriculum, especially at the elementary education unit or elementary school level. Folklore that developed in disaster-affected communities was built to provide disaster mitigation education. The purpose of this study was to analyze folklore in elementary school students in an environmentally friendly- based disaster mitigation effort in the Pelabuhanratu Sukabumi area, West Java and Parangtristis Jogjakarta. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this folklore research in elementary schools is discussed using an analysis of disaster mitigation and an environmentally friendly lifestyle. The results showed that folklore contributed to disaster mitigation for elementary school students in Pelabuhanratu Sukabumi and Parangtritis Jogjakarta utilizing several folk stories whose purpose was to build children's understanding and awareness, then for the practical stage it was done through simulation, and for the habituation stage it was done through routines. Values, the values taught are more about protecting the environment to prevent disasters, providing an understanding of the dangers of disasters, and explaining what to do in the event of a disaster.

Abstract

The role of Islamic Religion College in developing the peace is evidenced by the effort to implement The Five Pilar (Pancasila) Education as the foundation to grow the nationalist and citizenship awareness of Religious people. In the contestation of Jakarta Governor Election, 4 Islamic Religion Colleges contributed in keeping the peace and conduciveness. The role of State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in the implementation of The Five Pilar (Pancasila) Education as the effort to develop the peace through curriculum approach integrated in lecturing class is always being integrated by the Islamic-Indonesian values as the academic wisdom and the understanding of wasathon (Moderate) Islamic thought in the moderation of religiuos in order to avoid either the extremism understanding or liberalism as the religious wisdom. Regarding to the role of Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, it empashizes the Muhammadiyah social values to be the spirit in conducting the education. This is written in Muhamamdiyah College Duty (Darma Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah), namely: Al-Islam, Muhammadiyah values, education, research and dedication to the society as academic wisdom. Afterwards, the principle of peace and advanced Islam as religious wisdom. Then, Islam University Jakarta plays a role in conducting the peace through academic and non-academic activities integrated by Islamic values in every single of it. The Islamic Studies (dirasah Islamiyah) in Islam University Jakarta is becoming the main subject in all majors for 4 semesters. This is also becoming both the academic wisdom and the religious one performed by the college. The other one is Nahdhotul Ulama University Jakarta, it has the mechanism of conflict resolution as the effort to develop the peace in Jakarta with Islamic-Indonesian values. It aims to develop its students through Pesantren model in order to improve their academic and to apply religious wisdom through Islam Archipelago (Nusantara) as the special characteristic in growing the awareness of nationalism and religiousness. This research employs descriptive qualitative method and in order to provide the balance of the data, the researcher undertakes interview with The Commission of Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) and The commission member II of The Republic Indonesia Parliament (DPR RI). The factors which influence the implementation of The five pilar (Pancasila) education in order to develop the peace after Jakarta governor election, namely: the endurance of citizen, detection and early response system to the conflict in the form of communication among the society, and the empowerment of citizen as the effort to cultivate the citizen’s awareness regarding the political issue.

Abstract

This research focused on the Reeducation stage as the stage of re-loading knowledge about religious education, national education, and character education. The strategy of deradicalization must reach the target of restoration of terrorism prisoners with religious and national principles in accordance with the material provided in reeducation. This study used descriptive qualitative method by conducting in-depth observation on object and subject of the study as primary and secondary data sources. Technique of research analysis used theories and concepts relevant to strategic studies. namely; Strategy Theory, Counter Violent Extremism Concept, Deradicalization Concept, Islamic Education Concept, Character Education Concept, and Religious Moderation Concept. The result of the study on Increasing Religious Moderation among terrorism prisoner must use deradicalization strategy that embeded the values of Islamic Education and National Character Education. Nowadays, there are several agencies that carry out intervention programs including, BNPT, NGO, Religious Instructor, and Correctional Institution. However, the deradicalization program carried out by BNPT is more specific in increasing religious moderation. The strategy of deradicalization in terrorism prisoner in correctional institution through the segmentation of reeducation brought positive contribution to change the attitude of the terrorism prisoner. However, maximum service from the prison remained as the main strategy that is more leverage because the intervention is carried out directly and continuously. Factors that influence positively were the guardian of the military and the strategic policies of correctional institution in providing guidance to the military. The sincere service provided by the civil service as the closest person to the terrorism prisoner is an important factor to change the attitude to be more cooperation.
