Abstract

The extent of students' abilities is an important thing to consider because it is part of the learning process. This research analyzes students' abilities in the subject matter measurement physics. Tools that are used is a ministep Rasch analysis. Descriptive quantitative was used in the study by providing an overview of the student's results and supported by data in the form of numbers from Rasch analysis. A total of 14 participant students as respondents in this research with the criteria of having received physics and measurement materialize Merdeka Curriculum in his learning. The results of this research state that ability learners are still classified as low, although it has obtained that material, while Cronbach's alpha index (0.62) is in the moderate category. Besides that, suitability questions for students still need to be classified as low. That way, it is important to balance the equations with students' abilities or vice versa. In the future, study continuation is required to increase students' abilities. According to the claim from the Merdeka Curriculum, it is learning more about the essentials.

Abstract

Assessment and measurement have always been crucial topics, especially in physics education, where accurate evaluation is needed to measure students' understanding and mastery of the subject. This study tested the validity and reliability of physics measurement questions administered through the Quizizz platform and identified Differential Item-Person Functioning (DIPF) using the Rasch model-assisted Winstep software. This research design used Item Response Theory (IRT). The study involved 34 high school students from Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. The instrument consisted of 15 multiple-choice questions on basic physics measurements. The results showed that the instrument had good construct validity, with a raw variance explained by the measurement of 22.8%, indicating an effective measure to gauge students' ability. Reliability analysis showed moderate consistency, with a Cronbach Alpha of 70%, although person and item reliabilities were weaker at 63% and 46%, respectively. DIF analysis showed no significant gender bias. Future research should improve the instrument's reliability and consider a broader range of external factors to understand student performance comprehensively.

Abstract

Abstract Gen Z workers at PT Torabika Eka Semesta were the subjects of this research, which aimed to determine the relationship between work-life balance, workplace climate, and job satisfaction via the medium of work engagement. Researchers used purposive random sampling to gather data from 93 respondents using quantitative methodologies. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis based on PLS was then used to analyze the data. According to the findings, job satisfaction and engagement were positively affected by both work-life balance and the work environment. Curiously, although work engagement did moderate the link between work environment and job satisfaction, it did not significantly mitigate the effect of work-life balance on job satisfaction. Keywords: Work-Life Balance, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, Work Engagement, Generation Z.
