Abstract

English is a language for writing and speaking. To comprehend the meaning of information, thoughts, and feelings and to use language to advance science, technology, and culture is to comprehend and express communication. If you want to keep up with how the world is changing, you need to know and understand English. This study looked at how English class learning methods and facilities affected students' motivation to learn more about art and culture. The results show that better facilities improve students' motivation. Students will be able to learn more effectively and more easily if the appropriate method is chosen. In addition, the students' motivation to learn can be influenced and bolstered by the availability of a quality learning facility and the effective implementation of the learning method.

Abstract

English is a language used for verbal and written communication. A mastery of communication is being able to decipher meaning from data, ideas, and feelings and use language to progress domains such as science, technology, and culture. English language competency is necessary to stay current with changes around the world. This study looked at how various teaching strategies and classroom setups affect students' interest in exploring art and culture. The results show that when the right techniques are used, excellent facilities increase students' motivation and facilitate easier and more effective learning. Furthermore, the provision of high-quality learning environments and the effective use of instructional strategies can support and enhance students' motivation to study.

Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive study was to analyze the difficulties high school students face in listening to the factors that cause these difficulties. Various data collection methods such as questionnaires, interviews, and tests were used in this study and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, content analysis, and thematic analysis. Research has shown that listening is a difficult skill for students learning a foreign language, and students face a variety of difficulties in listening comprehension, including Lack of vocabulary, lack of concentration, lack of continuity, familiarity with accents, practice, and confidence. The difficulties students face in listening are caused by a variety of factors, including Lack of exposure to language, lack of practice, and lack of confidence. Teachers can address these issues by providing students with vocabulary lists and exercises, familiarizing them with different accents, and encouraging regular listening practice. Group discussion with peers is also a powerful way to improve your students' speaking and listening skills. Overall, this study provides insight into the specific difficulties faced by students and the factors that contribute to those difficulties. This helps teachers create effective strategies and resources for students to improve their listening skills.
