Abstract

Previous studies have indeed discussed jigsaw strategies from various scientific aspects, but the differences in setting, time and methods in this research are new aspects that are revealed in depth. This research aims to analyze science learning using the jigsaw strategy to improve elementary school students' learning outcomes. This is intended to develop students' potential in a collaborative, cooperative and radical way through direct learning experiences using jigsaw active learning strategies. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the learning process in elementary schools using the jigsaw method can improve student learning outcomes, by meeting the minimum completeness criteria and the increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from each cycle. Thus, learning using the jigsaw strategy is effectively applied to science learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS dan Co-op Co-op terhadap  kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penilitian quasi eksperiment. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA MA AlWasliyah 12 Perbaungan yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan peneliti adalah Sampling Jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen dan analisis datanya dilakukan dengan ANAVA. Hasil temuan penelitian inimenunjukkan; (1) Terdapat Pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ARIAS dan kooperatif tipe co-op co-op materi matriks dengan Fhitung = 4,688 > Ftabel pada taraf ( = 0,05) = 4,007; ( 2 ) Tidak terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ARIAS dan kooperatif tipe co-op co-op materi matriks dengan Fhitung = 0,801 < Ftabel pada taraf ( = 0,05) = 4,007; ( 3 ) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahaan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar denganmodel pembelajaran ARIAS dan kooperatif tipe co-op co-op materi pokok matriks dengan Fhitung = 4,525 (model pembelajaran) dan Fhitung = 4.116 (kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis) > Ftabel pada taraf ( = 0,05) =3,923. ABSTRACT                       This study aims to determine the effect of the arias and co-op learning model. Co-op Co-op on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and problems. Solving ability of students who are taught with ARIAS and Co-op Co-op learning models. This research uses quantitative research methods, with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA MA AlWasliyah 12 Perbaungan, totaling 60 students. The sampling technique used by the researcher is Saturated Sampling. Data collection was carried out using instruments and data analysis was carried out using ANOVA. The findings of this study show; (1) There is an effect on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught with the ARIAS learning model and cooperative type co-op co-op matrix material with Fcount = 4,688 > Ftable at level ( = 0,05) = 4,007; (2) There is no effect on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught with the ARIAS learning model and cooperative type co-op co-op matrix material with Fcount = 0.801 < Ftable at level ( = 0.05) = 4.007; (3) There is an effect of concept understanding ability and mathematical problem solving ability of students who are taught with ARIAS learning model and cooperative type co-op co-op matrix subject matter with Fcount = 4.525 (learning model) and Fcount = 4.116 (problem solving ability and ability mathematical communication) > Ftable at the level (= 0.05) = 3.923.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities using Superitem and Problem Based Learning models in the subject of Relations and Functions in class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Seruway. This research methodology uses quantitative research with the type of research experimental research. Data collection was carried out using techniques: essay tests, interviews and observations. The population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 5 Seruway in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 235 students. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII-1 and VIII-3 of SMP Negeri 5 Seruway, each class consisting of 28 students. Hypothesis testing using Variance Analysis. The findings of this study are: 1) There is an influence on the reasoning abilities and mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are taught with the Superitem learning model on Relations and Functions Material for Class VIII SMPN 5 Seruway; 2) There is an influence on students' reasoning abilities and mathematical problem solving abilities taught using the Problem Based Learning model on Relations and Functions for Class VIII SMPN 5 Seruway; 3) There is an influence of the reasoning abilities and mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are taught with the Superitem and Problem Based Learning models on Relations and Functions Materials for Grade VIII SMPN 5 Seruway.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical communication skills by using generative learning strategies and Group Investigation strategies in Mathematics in class VIII of MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. This study uses a quantitative research approach with quasi-experimental methods while data collection is carried out using test, interview and observation techniques. The subjects in this study were students of grades VIII-A and VIII-C of MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Hypothesis testing with T Test and Analysis of Variance. The results of these findings are: 1) There is an effect of generative learning strategies on students' mathematical communication skills in class VIII MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the T test analysis, the value of t count = 21,846 and the value of t table at the level (α=0.05) = 2.052, then t count > t table; 2) There is an effect of the group investigation learning strategy on students' mathematical communication skills in class VIII MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the t test analysis, the value of t count = 24,363 and the value of t table at the level (α=0,05 ) = 2,052, then t count > t table; 3) There is no effect of generative learning strategies and group investigation strategies on mathematical communication skills in class VIII mathematics at MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah 55 Serbelawan. Based on the results of the analysis of the F test, the value of F count = 0.018 and the value of F table at the level (α=0.05) = 4.020, then F count < F table.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan menggunakan media digital telah membuka banyak peluang untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Penggunaan media digital dalam pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya memperluas akses terhadap informasi, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperkaya cara mereka memahami konsep-konsep ilmiah. Penting untuk mencari keseimbangan antara penggunaan teknologi dan interaksi langsung antara guru dan siswa, serta memastikan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi mendukung tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi rumusan masalah adalah apa itu pembelajaran dengan media digital? Sejauh apakah pengaruh media digital dalam pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk diketahuinya pengertian media digital dan dampak yang dihasilkan dari pembelajaran media digital di pelajaran IPA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan “library research”. Dalam penelitia ini, hasil yang ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran media digital pada pelajaran IPA memiliki dampak yang cukup signifikan dalam proses peningkatan keterampilan berpikir siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab bagi siswi kelas II di Pesantren Raudhatul Jannah Kota Subulussalam. Metode Tamyiz dipilih karena dikenal efektif dalam mempermudah proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan siswi dan guru untuk memperoleh informasi dengan cara observasi, wawancara secara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen terkait dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Tamyiz efektif dalam peningkatan pemahaman tata bahasa Arab siswi, melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan metode ini membantu siswa untuk secara aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran dan membangun pemahaman yang mendalam tentang struktur dan kosa kata bahasa Arab. Faktor utama pendukung keberhasilan metode ini meliputi penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi seperti lagu, permainan dan kartu kata; suasana pembelajaran yang kondusif, serta dukungan aktif guru yang berkomitmen tinggi dalam mencerdaskan siswa. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Tamyiz efektif dalam memperdalam pemahaman dan membangkitkan pemahaman siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Namun penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa masalah, seperti perbedaan kemampuan bahasa Arab di antara siswi dan terbatasnya waktu yang tersedia untuk pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penyesuaian metode pengajaran untuk memenuhi kebutuhan individu siswi dan memastikan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using YouTube Arab Podcast video media on the Arabic learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at MA Laboratorium UINSU Medan. The background of this research stems from the low interest and achievement in learning Arabic, which is caused by monotonous conventional teaching methods. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using cluster sampling, involving a control class and an experimental class. Data were collected through pretests and posttests and analyzed using an independent t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students who used Arab Podcast video media compared to those who learned without video media, with a significance value of 0.039 < 0.05. This indicates that the use of YouTube-based video media is effective in improving students’ understanding of vocabulary, sentence structure, and Arabic pronunciation. Thus, interactive digital media such as Arab Podcast can serve as an alternative learning strategy relevant to the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

This article describes the ability to read Arabic material in class VIII students at the Medan integrated Al Ulum Islamic Middle School where reading is an effort to find various information contained in writing. This means that reading is a thinking process to understand the content of the text or material being read. This research aims to determine: The ability to read Arabic material in class VIII students at Al Ulum Terpadu Islamic Middle School, Medan, Factors that influence the ability to read Arabic material in class VIII students at Al Ulum Terpadu Islamic Middle School, Medan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative where the researcher describes an object or phenomenon which is expressed in narrative writing. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that the ability to read Arabic material in class VIII students at Al Ulum Integrated Islamic Middle School in Medan means that the majority of students have problems in reading, especially in fluency and pronunciation of Arabic letters. Even though they receive tahfizul Qur'an lessons every week, as well as reading material in textbooks, the lack of reading practice is the main factor in their difficulties. Some students who have good reading skills usually come from Islamic boarding school backgrounds. When interviewed, many students expressed that they preferred learning English rather than Arabic because they found Arabic difficult to understand with its many rules and variations. Reading ability involves clarity of pronunciation, appreciation of content, fluency and understanding of punctuation.
