Abstract

This study highlights the importance of implementing an appropriate learning system to achieve learning objectives, especially in the context of early childhood education post-covid-19. This study aims to determine the implementation and challenges faced by teachers and parents in online learning post-covid-19. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and Google Forms, and analyzed using the triangulation method. The results showed various challenges such as limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of understanding of teachers and parents, and less than optimal collaboration. In addition, the condition of the child and the limitations of the media used are also obstacles. This study suggests that teachers need to facilitate internet networks and understand the characteristics of effective online learning. The main indicators of successful online learning for early childhood include the presentation of appropriate materials, the use of appropriate methods and media, and clear assessment strategies. This implementation is important to ensure that children still get an optimal learning experience even though it is done online.

Abstract

This study focuses on the needs of holistic and integrated 21st century learning to develop thinking skills in stages. The low achievement of Indonesian education, as shown by the results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), confirms that only a few students have high-level thinking skills. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using Google Forms based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in increasing student activity in making course assignments. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a single group pre-test and post-test design. The results of the study indicate that the use of Google Forms based on PjBL is effective in increasing student activity and creativity in completing assignments. The implication of this study is that the use of digital media such as Google Forms can be a useful tool in supporting the learning process, especially in increasing activity and creativity in various courses.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a key factor that affects children's learning outcomes, including in early childhood education. This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and children's learning outcomes in Teratai Kindergarten, Kendari City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 30 class B children selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using validated learning motivation questionnaires, as well as documentation of learning outcomes from student development reports. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistics, normality test, linearity test, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and children's learning outcomes (r = 0.682, p < 0.01). These findings indicate that children with higher levels of learning motivation tend to have better learning outcomes. Furthermore, it reinforces the view that learning strategies that promote intrinsic motivation, provide challenges appropriate to the child's development, and offer rewards for effort contribute to improved academic achievement. This study recommends the active role of teachers and parents in building a learning environment that supports children's motivation from an early age.
