Abstract

This article aims to discuss the debate on the aspects of divinity in Islamic theology and its relation to the sentence of monotheism based on the madhhab Mu'tazilah, Asyariyah and Al-Maturidiyah. This study is a literature study with a qualitative approach that uses descriptive analysis. The data is taken from articles published on Google Scholar. Furthermore, a strict selection is carried out for these articles by evaluating the abstract, methodology, results, and relevance of each article. Conclusions were drawn from the findings, and the practical and theoretical implications of the study were identified. The results of the analysis show that Islamic theological schools such as Mu'tazilah, Ash'ariyah, and Maturidiyah debate various aspects of divinity in the context of monotheistic sentences. Mu'tazilah emphasizes the intellect and justice of Allah, while Ash'ariyah balances reason and revelation, rejects anthropomorphism in understanding God's attributes, and affirms God's decree and destiny. Maturidiyah, on the other hand, has a more moderate approach and emphasizes the importance of faith, and views the attributes of Allah as something that can be understood in a limited way by human reason. Despite their different approaches, these schools seek to understand and explain aspects of divinity within the framework of monotheism which is a fundamental principle in Islamic teachings

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the history of the emergence of the Al-Khawarij and Al-Murji'ah schools as well as the main ideas of these two schools. This article is a literature review. Then, based on the results of the analysis and reading, it was discovered that the cause of the emergence of the Khawarij sect was due to tribal fanaticism, economic factors and religious enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the Murji'ah aliram appears because it is caused by several theories that have explained it; First, the intention is to unite Muslims. secondly, to overcome the division of the people. third, the feud that occurred between Ali and Muawiyah was caused by arbitration or tahkim. The thoughts or understanding that had been developed by the Khawarij were classified into three categories, namely political, theological and social. Then, the understanding of Murji'ah is implemented in several things, both in the political and theological fields. So in the political field, Murjia'ah's understanding always tries to be neutral which is demonstrated in the form of silence. while in the theological field, it is developed in dealing with problems that then arise related to faith, kufr, major sins or venial sins. The implication of understanding Al-Khawarij and Murji'ah is so that Muslims know the beginning of the emergence and the main ideas and teachings of these two schools.

Abstract

Sufism as a scientific field also experienced controversy and polemics in its long history of struggles and struggles until it became established and gave birth to the congregations that they are today. In the long journey of Sufism, almost the majority of Islamic scholars and intellectuals agree that the existence of Sufism has existed since the time of the Prophet. which most Muslims recognize as a scientific field of spiritual conditioning, or the bonding of human relationships with God. Sufism has developed from time to time. From being limited to morals to expanding into the realm of faith, giving rise to many pros and cons. Ittihad and Hulul are two of the theories of Sufism that have raised many pros and cons among Islamic scholars since their inception until today. What is meant by Ittihad is a level in Sufism where a Sufi feels himself united with God; a level where the lover and the beloved have become one, so that one of them can call the other with the words: Hi Me. Meanwhile, Hulul is a teaching which states that God has chosen certain human bodies to reside in them with their divine qualities, after the human qualities in their bodies have been eliminated first.

Abstract

Principal management in education is very necessary, especially in moral development. Morals are self-awareness that arises from the deepest inner self to follow and obey the rules, values ??and laws that apply in a particular environment. Morals are also a means of education. In educating morals, the role of influencing, encouraging, controlling, changing, forming certain morals is in accordance with the values ??that are instilled, taught and exemplified. Changes in a person's morals, including their achievements, are the result of planned education and learning. This research was conducted at SMAN 13 Bone and the aim of the research was planning, organizing, implementing and supervising in overcoming the moral degradation of students at SMAN 13 Bone. The results of this research show that the planning (Planning) of the school principal's management in overcoming the moral degradation of students is carried out by planning activities to instill character education both in the family environment, educational institutions and has been implemented and monitored by the principal, organizing the principal's management in overcoming degradation. The morale of students has been implemented by dividing their respective tasks and collaborating with stakeholders, implementing (actuating) the school principal's management in overcoming the moral degradation of students by carrying out all activities so that there are no students who violate the school's code of ethics, supervising (controlling) management school principals in overcoming the moral degradation of students through visible monitoring of the progress of all activities as desired. ABSTRAKManajemen Kepala sekolah dalam pendidikan, sangat diperlukan khususnya dalam pembinaan moral. Moral merupakan kesadaran diri yang muncul dari batin terdalam untuk mengikti dan menaati peraturan-peraturan, nilai-nilai dan hukum yang berlaku dalam suatu lingkungan tertentu. Moral juga menjadi sarana pendidikan. Dalam mendidik moral berperan memengaruhi, mendorong, mengendalikan, mengubah, membentuk moral tertentu sesuai dengan nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan, diajarkan, dan diteladankan. Perubahan moral seseorang termasuk prestasinya hasil dari suatu pendidikan dan pembelajaran terencana. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 13 Bone dan tujuan penelitiannya adalah perencaan pengorganisasian pelaksanaan dan pengawasan dalam mengatasi degradasi moral peserta didik SMAN 13 Bone. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan (Planning) manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi degradasi moral peserta didik dilakukan dengan perencanaaan kegiatan menanamkan pendidikan karakter baik lingkungan keluarga, instansi pendidikan dan sudah diimplementasikan serta dimonitor oleh kepala sekolah, pengorganisasian (organizing) manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi degradasi moral peserta didik sudah terlaksana dengan cara melakukan pembagian tugas masing-masing dan kerjasama dengan stakeholder, pelaksaan (actuating) manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi degradasi moral peserta didik dengan terlaksananya semua kegiatan sehingga jaranya peserta didik yang melanggar kode etik sekolah, pengawasan (controling) manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi degradasi moral peserta didik dengan melalui pemantauan yang terlihat dari berjalanya semua kegiatan sesuai yang diinginkan.

Abstract

The digital era has brought about major changes in the social, cultural, and religious order of society, including in religious practices and thoughts. Amidst these dynamics, Sufism and Salafi as two major schools of thought in Islam face new complex challenges and opportunities. This study aims to investigate how the two schools adapt to social, cultural, and technological changes in the context of a modern, digitalized urban setting. Using qualitative research methods based on text analysis and participant observation, this study explores patterns and themes that emerge in the interaction of these two schools with urban society and digital media. The results show that Sufism utilizes digital technology to expand the reach of its teachings globally and create a strong virtual community, despite facing challenges related to authenticity and internal polarization. Meanwhile, Salafi focuses on consistency with the pure teachings of Islam through educational institutions, da'wah centers, and selective use of social media, despite often facing negative stigma and challenges of social adaptation. This study concludes that the adaptation of Sufism and Salafi reflects the dynamic religious transformation in the contemporary era, while providing strategic insights to support social harmony and religious integration in a complex urban society.

Abstract

This study investigates the historical, theological, and socio-political differences between Sunni and Shia Islam. By examining core issues such as leadership, understanding of the Prophet’s companions, and interpretation of the Quran, the study highlights the complex factors that contribute to sectarian divisions. The paper then explores the potential for harmonization between the two sects, focusing on the importance of interfaith dialogue, education, and community-building initiatives. Although Sunnis and Shias share a common foundation in Islamic belief, their differing perspectives on key doctrinal and historical issues have caused sectarian tensions for centuries. The study argues that by fostering mutual understanding, promoting tolerance, and addressing the underlying political and social factors, sectarian conflict can be reduced and bridges can be built between Sunni and Shia communities. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation in achieving lasting peace and harmony in the Muslim world.
