Abstract

This article aims to provide a concept regarding the implementation of giving rewards in Islamic religious education subjects at the Integrated Junior High School Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School, Tempuling District, considering that there are still many teachers who do not implement the implementation of giving rewards. So, a solution is needed to overcome this. The method used is the quantitative descriptive method. Observation results found that the implementation of giving rewards in Islamic Religious Education subjects at the Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School Integrated Junior High School, Tempuling District, reached 79.37% and was categorized as good, because it was located in the interval 61% - 80%. Factors that can influence the implementation of rewards in Islamic Religious Education subjects at the Integrated Junior High School Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School, Tempuling District are the methods used by teachers, student learning motivation and family environmental background.

Abstract

The interdisciplinary approach to Islamic education offers an innovative way to combine modern science with Islamic values. This study examines how the combination of current science and Islamic principles can contribute to the development of a more comprehensive and relevant curriculum. Using qualitative analysis methods, this study identifies practical strategies to bring the two fields together effectively. The findings of the study show that an interdisciplinary approach not only deepens academic understanding, but also strengthens the moral and ethical aspects of education. This research is expected to provide a new perspective for educators and policymakers in designing educational programs that balance modern knowledge and authentic Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in enhancing students’ Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) at MTs Nurul Hidayah Sungai Salak. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects included the school principal, the vice principal of curriculum, and ten eighth-grade students. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum has been effectively implemented in promoting the development of students’ SRL abilities, such as goal setting, self-reflection, time management, and initiating help-seeking when facing difficulties. Students were also able to apply appropriate learning strategies and demonstrated intrinsic motivation as well as perseverance in addressing academic challenges. Furthermore, the school provides systematic support that strengthens students’ learning autonomy. Therefore, the Merdeka Curriculum contributes significantly to shaping students into independent learners in accordance with the goals of 21st-century education.
