Abstract

This research aims to analyze the school of Sabilallah Malang in improving the competence of the Arabic language teacher. This research used a qualitative approach to gain in-depth knowledge about the phenomenon. The research conducted a case study, a type of descriptive analytical research. To collect data, this research used three methods: interview, direct observation, and document analysis. To analyze the data, this research follows the principles and benefits of the management process developed by George R. Terry, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and evaluation. This analysis aims to reach knowledge and understanding about the activities carried out by the school in upgrading the competence of the Arabic language teacher. The results of this research are that in the Islamic Junior High School Sabilillah Malang there is a program to improve the competence of Arabic language teachers. The Speak Arabic program consists of an activity, including teaching Arabic especially to teachers, accustoming the daily phrase, and learning Arabic for Arabic language teachers.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kosakata merupakan unsur paling penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata pada siswa MTs Islmiyah Ciputat melalui penyedian kosakata dengan model semantic cluster. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan model true experiment, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. sampel, peneliti memilih kelas 8 Ibnu al-Rusyd yang berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan Ibnu Sina yang berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Dalam mengumpulkan data peneliti menggunakan tes tertulis pretest dan posttest pada kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sedangkan dalam pengolahan data, peneliti menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Windows. Nilai signifikan melalui Shapiro-Wilk adalah 0,89 pada post-test kelas eksperimen Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol atau kelas yang tidak memakai Model semantic Cluster menghasilkan nilai signifikan Post-Test-nya adalah 0,050. Karena nilai signifikan lebih besar dari 0,05, maka disimpulkan bahwa datanya tersebar dengan normal. Pada uji homogenitas, nilai Sig. Based on Mean untuk variabel belajar Kosakata bahasa arab adalah sebesar 0,540. Karena nilai Sig. 0,540 > 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa varians data hasil belajar kosakata Bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas Experimen dan kelas kontrol adalah homogen. Pada uji Indenpedent Sampel nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,481. Sedangkan alpha penelitian adalah 5% atau 0,05. Artinya, 0,481 > 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara penyedian kosakata semantic cluster dengan non semantic cluster. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kosakata melalui penyediaan kosakata dengan modal Semantik Cluster tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan pada pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Acquiring Arabic as a second language is a complex process influenced by various factors. In this literature review, we explore the factors that affect the acquisition of Arabic as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective. We highlight three main factors, namely motivation, language factors, and social factors. Strong and sustained motivation plays a crucial role in motivating learners to diligently and consistently learn Arabic. A good understanding of the differences between the first language and Arabic is also found to be a significant factor, as this understanding helps learners overcome difficulties and develop a better grasp of the Arabic language. Additionally, social factors, such as interaction with native speakers and a supportive learning environment, provide valuable opportunities for learners to actively practice Arabic. This research has important implications for understanding Arabic as a second language. By understanding the factors that influence the acquisition of Arabic, more effective learning approaches can be developed. We provide suggestions to enhance learner motivation, consider first language factors in language learning, encourage social interaction, and integrate cultural contexts into Arabic language learning. The relevance of this research lies in its contribution to our understanding of the acquisition of Arabic as a second language and providing guidance to educators and learners in developing optimal learning strategies. Thus, it is expected that this article will provide valuable insights and contribute to the field of Arabic language acquisition as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective.
