Abstract

This study aims to measure the impact of the Inquiry Project-Based Learning model on the critical thinking abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Budya Wacana Kindergarten, Yogyakarta. The research methodology adopted an experimental quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 35 children selected through the Total Sampling technique. Data were collected using observation sheets and documentation, with instruments focusing on five indicators of critical thinking ability. Data analysis employed normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests using SPSS 25. The results indicated a significant increase in posttest essential scores of thinking (86.03) compared to the pretest (47.60), with a t-value of -31.352 and a significance of 0.000. These findings affirm the effectiveness of this learning model in enhancing early childhood critical thinking skills while also opening opportunities for further research in early childhood education. This study has significant implications for educational practice, suggesting integrating the Inquiry Project-Based Learning method into the curriculum and highlighting the need for teacher training to implement this method. However, limitations exist, such as focusing on a limited sample size and not evaluating long-term effects.

Abstract

Leadership and motivation models are components that must be possessed by school principals and teachers in the scope of education. The existence of a superior leadership and motivation system can increase the value of the institution. This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership model and teacher motivation partially and silmulantly on teacher performance. This research method is descriptive quantitative with a determination technique using total sampling, so that the number of population and samples in this study amounted to 80 subjects. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that has been validated by the validator with a validity value of 0.86 and a reliability of 0.76 and research documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research uses the t test and the f test. The results of the persial test research are 1) It is known that the value of sig. The influence of the principal's leadership model on teacher performance is 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of tcount 5.764>ttable 1.665. 2) The value of sig. for teachers' motivation for teacher performance is as much as 0.0027 ttable 1.665. 3) The value of sig. For the leadership model of the principal and the motivation of teachers simultaneously on teacher performance, which is 0.000< 0.05 and the value of tcount 24.508 > ttable 3.12. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an influence of the principal's leadership model and teachers' motivation both physically and simultaneously on the performance of Senior High Schools in Ngawi District.

Abstract

Usia dini merupakan masa kritis bagi pembentukan karakter anak. Pembelajaran mengenai religi dan budaya harus dikenalkan dengan media yang menarik bagi anak. Pendidikan akan nilai karakter tersebut menjadi hal penting bagi anak yang dapat dibentuk melalui berbagai kegiatan termasuk bernyanyi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai penanaman nilai religius yang tertanam dalam kegiatan menyanyi akhlak budaya (Abud) pada anak didik di TK Kelompok Kerja Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Jati Putra, Pleret. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua guru kelas, kepala sekolah dan tiga puluh enam anak didik TK KKLKMD Jati Putra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Milles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penanaman nilai religius melalui kegiatan menyanyi Abud yang menarik dan menyenangkan berdampak positif bagi anak. Dengan adanya penelitian ini membuat anak menjadi faham akan nilai religius dan nilai budaya juga dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan kreativitas anak. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan bahwa melalui kegiatan menyanyi Abud dapat menjadi alternatif metode bagi guru untuk mengoptimalkan bakat serta pengetahuan untuk anak.
