Abstract

Community service activities aim to empower housewives in Gubeng District, Surabaya, through training and developing entrepreneurial skills in making Rambutan Tahu. With the population continuing to grow, especially in big cities like Surabaya, various challenges arise, especially in terms of poverty and inequality in income distribution. A participatory approach involves participants in identifying their needs and aspirations. The service method involves three main stages: initial survey, implementation, and evaluation. The training was carried out in the PKK environment in Gubeng District, with resource persons from Dr. Soetomo, who provided material and practical guidance to participants. The results show that participants have high enthusiasm for participating in the training, but there are still challenges in applying the skills learned at home. Program evaluation shows increased participants' knowledge and skills, and business opportunities opened, and the availability of business platforms at the neighborhood level. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in having a real impact on improving the welfare of local communities, especially for housewives. The importance of this result lies in its contribution to improving the standard of living and economic value of local communities.Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ditujukan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kecamatan Gubeng, Surabaya, melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan berwirausaha dalam pembuatan Tahu Rambutan. Dengan jumlah penduduk yang terus bertumbuh, terutama di kota besar seperti Surabaya, muncul berbagai tantangan terutama dalam hal kemiskinan dan ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan untuk melibatkan peserta dalam identifikasi kebutuhan dan aspirasi mereka. Metode pengabdian melibatkan tiga tahap utama: survei awal, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilakukan di lingkungan PKK di Kecamatan Gubeng, dengan narasumber dari Universitas Dr. Soetomo yang memberikan materi dan bimbingan praktis kepada peserta. Hasil menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang tinggi dalam mengikuti pelatihan, namun masih terdapat tantangan dalam menerapkan keterampilan yang dipelajari di rumah. Evaluasi program menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, serta terbukanya peluang usaha dan ketersediaan wadah usaha di tingkat RT. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil berdampak nyata dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal, khususnya bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Pentingnya hasil ini terletak pada kontribusinya dalam meningkatkan taraf hidup dan nilai ekonomi masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Technology has proven to be a powerful instrument in enhancing students’ enthusiasm and skills in learning English, both in written and spoken forms. Teachers are encouraged to implement creative, interest-based teaching strategies, such as the use of Google Maps App and educational software, to align with students’ preferences and needs. This research investigated the effectiveness of the using Google Maps App as an interactive learning medium to enhance students’ speaking performance in asking and giving for information at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 East Lampung. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The research involves the VIIa class, using a combination of observation, test and documentation for data collection. The findings describe that the using Google Maps App App in teaching speaking can enhance students’ performance, motivation and engagement. The research also highlights the potential of using technology and internet-based learning to be an interactive learning medium. This research provides valuable insight for educators in the using technology to developing innovative teaching strategies to enhance students’ speaking performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara kondisi ideal dan realitas di lapangan terkait lingkungan fisik lembaga pendidikan Islam, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menghambat pengembangannya, serta merumuskan model konseptual perencanaan yang partisipatif dan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan telaah literatur mutakhir dari berbagai jurnal, buku, dan laporan resmi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara desain ideal yang mendukung nilai Islami dengan praktik fisik di banyak sekolah Islam. Faktor penghambat utama mencakup keterbatasan dana, kurangnya perencanaan jangka panjang, lemahnya manajemen fasilitas, serta minimnya pelibatan komunitas dalam proses perencanaan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dirumuskan model konseptual perencanaan yang bertumpu pada lima elemen: landasan nilai Islami, pendekatan human-centered, partisipasi komunitas (syura), perencanaan berkelanjutan melalui masterplan, serta dukungan teknologi modern. Model ini diharapkan menjadi pedoman praktis bagi pengelola sekolah, perencana pendidikan, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam merancang lingkungan pendidikan Islam yang adaptif, kontekstual, dan mendukung pembiasaan nilai-nilai Islami di era global.

Abstract

Pariwisata halal merupakan salah satu sektor yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia seiring meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan Muslim global. Kabupaten Malang, sebagai salah satu destinasi unggulan di Jawa Timur, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan wisata halal melalui penguatan identitas destinasi yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Halal Brand Personality dan Storytelling Marketing terhadap Minat Berkunjung dan Keputusan Berkunjung wisatawan pada destinasi wisata halal di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis explanatory research. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada 96 responden, ditentukan dengan teknik insidental sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Halal Brand Personality berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Berkunjung, demikian pula dengan Storytelling Marketing. Namun, keduanya tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung. Sebaliknya, Minat Berkunjung terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung dan berperan sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi penguatan citra halal dan narasi Islami efektif dalam meningkatkan minat wisatawan, namun konversi ke keputusan kunjungan masih dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti harga, aksesibilitas, dan rekomendasi sosial.
