Abstract

The admission of new students at the Polytechnic of Furniture and Wood Processing Industry (Polifurneka) has a significant impact on the quality of education, One of which is the level of competence of the new students who are accepted. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the development of a new student admission selection system using the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) online examination system to produce competent students. There are three online exam system options that can be implemented at the Furniture and Wood Processing Industry Polytechnic, namely the online exam system by making your own, an online exam system provided by PT. X and online exam system of premium upgrade google form. Therefore these three options must be analyzed economically and technologically. Based on the economic and technological feasibility analysis, an online exam is chosen that is self-exam. In the economic feasibility of the online exam made by itself, it provides a Payback Ratio (PP) value of 0.12 years, Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 446.088.408,-, Return On Investment (ROI) of 13,229%, and from the results of technology analysis, the online exam made by yourself is considered feasible because there is an additional listening question feature and storage capacity of up to 900,000 register per month.

Abstract

The furniture industry faces challenges in marketing its products online, especially due to the limitations of providing customers with a physical product experience. This makes the Landing page a crucial element in digital marketing strategies, which not only needs to be aesthetically appealing but also technically optimized to enhance user engagement and sales conversion. This study aims to identify the factors affecting page load speed and performance of the Landing page, as well as to implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency and user experience. The methods used include literature reviews, direct observation, and technical testing and optimization using the GTMetrix tool. The results show that after technical optimizations, the Landing page performance improved by 8%, page structure increased by 5%, Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) decreased by 0.1 seconds, Total Blocking Time (TBT) reduced by 3 milliseconds, and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) decreased by 0.12. In addition, the page performance grade increased from B to A. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating attractive design and high technical performance to achieve an optimal Landing page in the furniture industry, supporting improved user engagement and sales conversion.

Abstract

Production process part body type car Rail Roof Side experience defect that is, there are variations in size specifications due to unstable processes. The cause of the unstable process is that the repair of the die tooling is not optimal and the machine parameters stamping not yet ideal for process operations. Verification quality assurace processes are needed to ensure QA is able to prevent, detect and control every production process activity. This research aims to design framework verification quality assurance by using detection capability variables and action conditions irregular. The process stability measurement variable using Cpk data is used as the main data. Design results framework process QA verification is a Cpk measurement >1.33 for a stable process standard, then a detection capability level during work operations of 0.8 for visual detection scores and tool detection capabilities, warnings, interlock system respectively 1.0/1.2/1.4. Meanwhile, the ability to detect post-work operations visually, tools, warnings, interlock system respectively 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4. Meanwhile, the level of action ability irregular namely a score of 1 if the worker is able to take action according to the SOP and a score of 0 if the action does not comply with the SOP when there is an abnormal process. The final stage combines these 3 (three) variables to produce a rank value at each inspection point. Process quality assurance can be achieved if the rank value is 1.5–1.99 and the rank value is > 2.0. Process quality assurance is not achieved if the rank value is 0.0–1.19 and the rank value is 1.2–1.49. Process guarantees that are not achieved indicate that there are process variations or unstable processes. The verification process is considered complete when the results of the verification of process guarantees reach the target and improvements are made to quality guarantees that do not reach the target rank.

Abstract

Abstract

This study presents a structured grey literature review to develop a digital transformation framework for Industry 4.0 in Indonesia’s manufacturing sector. The analysis draws from national policy documents such as Making Indonesia 4.0, the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI), and the Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP), complemented by qualitative insights from Focus Group Discussions with stakeholders from Digital Industry 4.0 Center (PIDI 4.0) and Badan Standardisasi dan Kebijakan Jasa Industri (BKSJI). Using grounded theory techniques—open, axial, and selective coding—relevant themes were extracted from these non-academic sources and organized into four perspectives: Adaptation, Technologies for Transformation, Key Success Factors, and Implementation Steps. These were operationalized into 25 dimensions and four detailed activity tables. A gap analysis with PIDI 4.0 partner industries was conducted to validate the framework and reveal implementation challenges such as fragmented strategies, limited technical skills, and a lack of performance monitoring. The review method integrates institutional evidence and stakeholder knowledge into a practical model for digital transformation, offering transferability to other developing countries. This research highlights the methodological value of grey literature in constructing context-sensitive frameworks for complex industrial innovation.
