Abstract

Authentic happiness is happiness that describes the overall goal of positive psychology efforts which includes positive feelings (such as comfort) and positive activities that do not consist of negative emotions at all (such as absorption and involvement). Authentic happiness for honorary teachers is very important to achieve because it is an effort to create enthusiasm, a sense of joy, love for happiness, and prosperity in life. This research aims to determine the picture of authentic happiness in honorary teachers. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with interview and observation methods. This research was conducted on 7 informants. From the research conducted, it was found that a picture of authentic happiness in honorary teachers was obtained in different ways. Most honorary teachers find their happiness by establishing positive relationships with the school environment and outside the school, accepting themselves in the past and present, and maintaining the habit of being grateful and remaining optimistic for the future.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Siswa SMA Kelas XII seringkali merasa kebingungan dalam pemilihan karir untuk masa depannya. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam diri antara lain faktor realitas, faktor proses pendidikan, faktor emosi, dan faktor nilai pribadi. Berdasarkan faktor tersebut siswa sendiri lah yang mampu membuat pilihan-pilihan karir untuk dirinya. Pemilihan karir akan lebih efektif apabila memiliki kesadaran diri (self-awareness) yang baik. Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini tentu saja berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di mana untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan self-awareness dalam pemilihan karir untuk masa depan siswa setelah lulus dari SMA. Sosialisasi ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi ini yaitu setelah siswa diberikan materi terkait self-awareness, siswa mengalami peningkatan self-awareness dibuktikan dengan siswa yang awalnya kebingungan memilih karir menjadi dapat menjelaskan gambaran pemilihan karir yang sesuai dengan dirinya selama satu tahun, lima tahun bahkan sampai sepuluh tahun kedepan. ABSTRACT Class XII high school students often feel confused about choosing a career for their future. Career selection is influenced by several internal factors, namely reality, educational processes, emotions, and personal values. Based on these factors, students themselves can make career choices for themselves. Career selection will be more effective if you have good self-awareness. The aim of this socialization activity is related to this, which is to help students increase self-awareness in choosing a career for the student's future after graduating from high school. This socialization uses lecture and question-and-answer methods in its implementation. The result of this socialization activity is that after students get the material related to self-awareness, students experience an increase as evidenced by students who were initially confused in choosing a career, becoming able to explain the description of a career election that is suitable for them for one year, five years or even ten years.
