Abstract

Traffic violations are an integral part of modern life. Traffic is needed along with the development of transportation, human mobility, and road use. This development has raised attention to aspects of traffic safety so that traffic rules have been issued to maintain security, order and smooth traffic. The lack of awareness among the public regarding traffic laws can be seen in behavior such as the increasing number of traffic violations by motorbike and car drivers. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of traffic violations and applicable penalties as well as efforts to promote human values. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, where the research will contain data excerpts regarding traffic violations related to human values. The research results obtained were based on direct observation, there were several cases including disobeying traffic signs, not wearing a helmet, not wearing vehicle plates and going against the direction.

Abstract

Eco-enzymes are liquid products resulting from the fermentation of organic wastes such as fruit and vegetable wastes, sugar, and water. The aim of this study is to investigate the potential of eco-enzymes as liquid organic fertilizers using organic waste from orange and pineapple peels. In the experimental design, he used a completely randomized design with three replicates of three organic waste compositions. The treatments used are pineapple peel, orange peel, and a mixture of pineapple and orange peel. Ecoenzyme is prepared by mixing organic waste with water and molasses in a ratio of 10: 3: 1 and fermenting it for 30, 60 and 90 days. The results showed that the composition of pineapple and orange peel produced an eco-enzyme solution with the highest nitrogen content, highest amylase enzyme activity, and highest acidic pH. The color of eco-enzyme varies from light brown to dark brown, and the resulting sour aroma indicates that the fermentation process is progressing smoothly.

Abstract

Land use changes can impact society, the government, and the environment in either a beneficial or harmful way. The physical and non-physical components of Bandar Klippa Village underwent a variety of modifications as a result of changes in land usage. This is because a train station is being built in North Sumatra's Percut Sei Tuan District's Bandar Klippa Village. The purpose of this study is to examine how the construction of the Banda Klippa train station has affected land use. In this study, a resident of Bandar Klippa Village was interviewed and field observations were made. The study's findings indicate that Bandar Klippa Village's land use is changing, which has an effect on the neighborhood and its inhabitants in particular.

Abstract

Integrated Social Studies (IPS) is a highly potential learning approach to improve the quality of IPS learning. However, the development of integrated IPS materials still faces various challenges. The purpose of this research is to focus on the main problem, namely, there are several challenges faced by teachers in developing integrated IPS materials. Therefore, efforts are made to overcome these problems in MTS Islamiyah Medan. The method used in this research is through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results obtained include the constraints of limited learning resources, the challenges of integrating IPS materials, educational background, and the lack of facilities such as technology.

Abstract

Understanding of the Earth's rotation is often limited to the alternation of day and night. However, its impact is far more complex, including the formation of time zones and varying climate patterns. The objectives of this study include analyzing the Earth's rotation's influence on the formation of time differences between regions based on longitude and the relationship between the Earth's rotation and climate variations caused by atmospheric movement and global wind patterns. This study employs literature review techniques using secondary data, which involves collecting data indirectly by studying the relevant objects. The use of secondary data related to Earth's rotational movement influences time and climate is based on findings from previous research. The findings of this study reveal that the Earth's rotation causes the alternation of day and night and time differences in each region, with each 15-degree difference in longitude resulting in a one-hour time difference. In terms of climate, the Earth's rotation produces the Coriolis force, which deflects the direction of wind and ocean currents, thereby forming atmospheric circulation patterns such as the Hadley, Ferrel, and polar cells. These circulation patterns determine temperature and precipitation distribution across various regions, so the Earth's rotation directly shapes the distinct global climate characteristics of each area
