Abstract

This study explores boosting the reading interest of net generation cadets through innovative library facility and infrastructure development. The independent variable is library facility and infrastructure development, while the dependent variable is next generation cadets' reading interest. Quantitative research employing the Likert scale gathered data from Indonesian Flight Academy cadets in Banyuwangi. Descriptive analysis reveals a positive impact of library facility and infrastructure development on cadets' reading interest, supported by high mean and median values. Inferential statistical analysis further confirms a significant relationship between these factors. These findings significantly contribute to understanding factors influencing net generation cadets' reading interest. Practical implications advocate increased investment in innovative library facility and infrastructure, including relevant book additions, technology for information access, and comfortable reading spaces. Identifying additional influencing factors and promoting literacy programs and reading habit development are recommended. In conclusion, innovative library facility and infrastructure development critically enhance net generation cadets' reading interest. Regular evaluation and updates of implemented facilities, programs, and policies are essential, requiring collaboration among educational institutions, libraries, government, and the community for optimal results in improving reading interest. in one or two sentences.

Abstract

The flight training process at APIB is not an easy task. Cadets will be exposed to situations that test their physical, mental, and psychosocial limits. Good psychosocial adjustment enables cadets to cope with the pressure and stress that arise, maintain emotional balance, boost motivation, and build positive interpersonal relationships with instructors and fellow cadets. However, at API Banyuwangi, there is a lack of counselors available to provide psychological support and emotional guidance to the cadets. This research aims to investigate the importance of counselor presence in enhancing the psychosocial adjustment of cadets at API Banyuwangi during the flight training process. This research used a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires administered to pilot cadets at the Banyuwangi Flight Academy. The results of the study indicate that the presence of counselors at API Banyuwangi has a significant impact on the psychosocial adjustment of cadets. Counselors serve as empathetic listeners, providing emotional support, practical advice, and career guidance that help cadets overcome the psychological pressures and challenges of intensive flight training. A strong positive correlation between the role of counselors and the psychosocial adjustment of cadets is revealed through linear regression analysis, marked by high t-statistic values and very low levels of significance (p < 0.001).

Abstract

 Jakarta’s public transport system has undergone rapid expansion and integration, aiming to improve accessibility and user experience through initiatives like Jak Lingko. Despite these efforts, first and last mile challenges remain, increasingly addressed by ridehailing services such as Gojek and Grab. This study investigates the extent to which ridehailing supports Jakarta’s multimodal public transport network. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using secondary data from BPS Jakarta, Kompas Research 2025, Wikipedia, and the Asian Transport Observatory. The analysis focused on ridehailing usage, ridership trends across MRT, LRT, KRL, and Transjakarta, and Jak Lingko’s fare integration structure. Results reveal that 71.7% of public transport users rely on ridehailing, with 75% using it for first/last mile access. Ridership remains high: Transjakarta (~1M daily), KRL (~984K weekday), MRT (~111K), and LRT (~70K). Integration via Jak Lingko simplifies fare payment but gaps persist in physical connectivity and equity. The study concludes that ridehailing is essential in Jakarta’s transport landscape. Formalizing its role through adaptive policy, public private cooperation, and inclusive governance can ensure more sustainable and accessible urban mobility.

Abstract

Urban traffic congestion is a major challenge for logistics efficiency, particularly in rapidly growing cities like Bogor, Indonesia. This study aims to quantify the impact of traffic congestion on logistics operational costs by analyzing congestion levels and cost components in urban freight transport. A quantitative approach was used, involving 50 logistics fleet respondents from Bogor. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring daily congestion duration, travel time, average speed, fuel consumption, driver wages, and vehicle maintenance costs. Statistical analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results reveal that logistics vehicles experience approximately 95 minutes of congestion daily, with travel speeds reduced to 13.5 km/h. The study finds a strong, positive, and statistically significant relationship between congestion and logistics costs (regression coefficient = 0.674, p < 0.001), with congestion explaining 45.5% of cost variation. Increased fuel consumption, labor costs, and maintenance expenses are the main contributors to operational inefficiencies. These findings underscore how urban congestion increases the cost to serve and diminishes logistics reliability. The study suggests that policymakers adopt adaptive strategies such as smart routing, freight dedicated lanes, and urban consolidation centers. It also calls for greater integration of logistics planning in urban transport systems to enhance resilience and sustainability. These findings contribute to the growing discourse on urban freight efficiency in Southeast Asian cities.
