Abstract

Method is a comprehensive plan to provide language learning materials on a regular basis, with no contradictory part, and all are based on a particular approach. The purpose of this study is to improve the Aeronautical Knowledge of Vocational Education Cadets in the Official Aviation School. The object chosen in this study is the Vocational Education Cadets of Official Aviation School. Based on the results of this study, it is proven that the direct learning model is able to increase Aeronautical Knowledge, which is indicated by the improvement of cadets’ achievement.

Abstract

This study explores boosting the reading interest of net generation cadets through innovative library facility and infrastructure development. The independent variable is library facility and infrastructure development, while the dependent variable is next generation cadets' reading interest. Quantitative research employing the Likert scale gathered data from Indonesian Flight Academy cadets in Banyuwangi. Descriptive analysis reveals a positive impact of library facility and infrastructure development on cadets' reading interest, supported by high mean and median values. Inferential statistical analysis further confirms a significant relationship between these factors. These findings significantly contribute to understanding factors influencing net generation cadets' reading interest. Practical implications advocate increased investment in innovative library facility and infrastructure, including relevant book additions, technology for information access, and comfortable reading spaces. Identifying additional influencing factors and promoting literacy programs and reading habit development are recommended. In conclusion, innovative library facility and infrastructure development critically enhance net generation cadets' reading interest. Regular evaluation and updates of implemented facilities, programs, and policies are essential, requiring collaboration among educational institutions, libraries, government, and the community for optimal results in improving reading interest. in one or two sentences.

Abstract

Background. The increasing complexity of workforce management in modern organizations has driven the adoption of innovative tools such as Big Data Analytics (BDA) in human resources (HR). Talent management, encompassing recruitment, retention, and performance evaluation, has become a critical focus for organizations aiming to maintain competitiveness. Big Data Analytics enables HR professionals to identify patterns, predict trends, and make data-driven decisions, enhancing talent management processes. Despite its potential, the application of BDA in HR faces challenges, including data integration, privacy concerns, and skill gaps. Purpose. This study explores the role of Big Data Analytics in improving talent management and prediction, focusing on its impact on decision-making and organizational outcomes. Method. A mixed-method research design was employed, incorporating quantitative analysis of HR metrics and qualitative insights from interviews with HR professionals. Data were collected from 15 organizations across diverse industries, analyzing employee performance, recruitment patterns, and turnover rates. Predictive models were developed using machine learning algorithms to forecast talent trends and inform HR strategies. Results. The findings revealed that BDA significantly improved talent acquisition and retention processes, with a 25% increase in recruitment efficiency and a 30% reduction in turnover rates. Predictive models accurately identified high-potential candidates and flagged at-risk employees, enabling proactive interventions. Challenges related to data privacy and technical expertise were highlighted as areas for improvement. Conclusion. The study concludes that leveraging Big Data Analytics transforms talent management by enabling evidence-based decision-making and predictive insights. Addressing implementation challenges and investing in skill development will maximize its potential in HR practices.

Abstract

Sektor kesehatan merupakan aspek fundamental dari kehidupan manusia, membutuhkan perhatian berkelanjutan dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Dalam layanan radiologi, khususnya Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), upaya mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya sangat penting karena biaya peralatan yang tinggi dan kompleksitas operasi. Studi ini mengembangkan formula komputasi yang dirancang untuk membantu kepala departemen radiologi dalam merencanakan dan menghitung target pemeriksaan MRI harian selama masa pakai peralatan. Faktor-faktor seperti jenis rumah sakit, biaya layanan, biaya operasional, dan lokasi regional dimasukkan ke dalam rumus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, menggabungkan survei pendahuluan dengan pengembangan dan validasi rumus komputasi. Validasi oleh pakar keuangan dan radiologi menunjukkan keandalan dan akurasi formula. Selain itu, pengujian skala besar yang melibatkan sepuluh pemangku kepentingan mengkonfirmasi fungsionalitas, keandalan, dan keramahan pengguna aplikasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa alat ini secara signifikan meningkatkan perencanaan dan manajemen operasional peralatan MRI, menawarkan solusi yang dapat disesuaikan dengan peraturan baru dan data waktu nyata. Aplikasi ini memberikan metode yang menjanjikan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan MRI di rumah sakit, terutama dalam konteks sistem Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). Fleksibilitas dan kemudahan penggunaannya membuatnya berlaku untuk rumah sakit pemerintah dan swasta, memastikan pemanfaatan MRI dan manajemen keuangan yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of socialization and training on employee compliance with Radiation Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures in the Radiology Unit of Hospital Type A. Utilizing a quantitative approach with an explanatory associative design, data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicate that both socialization and training have a significant effect on compliance with radiation safety procedures, with significance values of p = 0.001 and p = 0.000, respectively. The training variable (regression coefficient = 0.41) showed a greater impact on compliance compared to socialization (regression coefficient = 0.35). The regression model yielded a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.481, indicating that 48.1% of the variance in compliance can be explained by the two independent variables. These findings highlight the importance of structured training programs and continuous safety socialization in fostering a strong safety culture within hospital radiology environments.

Abstract

UMKM kerajinan Lidi dan Batik di Desa Pondoknongko, Kecamatan Kabat, Kabupaten Banyuwangi adalah kelompok usaha produktif masyarakat yang menjadi ikon masyarakat Banyuwangi. Aktifitas usaha yang dilakukan selama ini masih konvensional sehingga berdampak terhadap kapasitas produksi yang belum optimal. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan IPTEK berupa inovasi seni dan manajemen usaha yang lebih baik. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan kegiatan pelatihan yang didampingi oleh narasumber yang telah berpengalaman dan memiliki jaringan yang cukup luas. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa usaha yang telah berjalan memiliki potensi sangat bagus dengan nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi dan meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Beberapa produk inovasi juga dikembangkan meliputi aksesoris, hiasan dinding serta peralatan rumah tangga dan lain sebagainya. Kegiatan pendampingan ini telah membantu usaha masyarakat Pondoknongko agar dapat lebih maju dan berkembang.

Abstract

Kawasan keselamatan operasi penerbangan menjadi aspek penting yang harus dipatuhi sebagaimana diatur dalam ICAO. Untuk menjaga kawasan tersebut dibutuhkan regulasi serta sinergi yang melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait terutama masyarakat dilingkungan API Banyuwangi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang kawasan keselamatan terbang bandara Blimbingsari yang juga menjadi kawasan keselamatan terbang API Banyuwangi pada masyarakat Cluring, Banyuwangi. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dengan materi-materi terkait analisis resiko keamanan di kawasan keselamatan terbang. Kegiatan ini merupakan implementasi atas peran API Banyuwangi sebagai lembaga pendidikan dalam memenuhi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract – Aero Sport is a type of aerospace sport that grew together with the world of aviation, both civil and military. The perpetrators of this extreme sport must understand flying safety procedures to minimize the dangers and risks faced. To bring up the growth of interest in aerospace sports, it is necessary to carry out ongoing socialization and education efforts for the pilot community who are members of the Indonesian Aero Sport Federation (FASI) or other general public. This PKM activity is carried out as part of a series of community service activities for the Banyuwangi API Institution. The activity was carried out for 3 days with participants from the FASI pilot community, APIB cadets, and Banyuwangi scout students. The results of the activity showed a positive response to the interest in aerospace sports which was disserted with the establishment of a DATC organization under the auspices of APIB. From this activity, the pilot community gained an understanding of the VRF Route Corridor and the Flight Training Area for the Banyuwangi API. Abstract

Kegiatan penyembelihan dan distribusi daging Kurban 1446 H yang diselenggarakan oleh Masjid Baitul ‘Ilmi Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang dilaksanakan sebagai program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) melalui kolaborasi antara kampus dan komunitas sekitar. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh distribusi daging kurban yang sering menghadapi tantangan efektivitas dan keadilan. Pendekatan humanitarian logistics diterapkan untuk memastikan proses distribusi berlangsung cepat, tepat sasaran, dan efisien, inilah yang melatar belakangi PkM ini. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip humanitarian logistics untuk memastikan bahwa proses distribusi daging qurban berlangsung secara cepat, akurat, adil, dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan menggabungkan kerangka kerja humanitarian logistics dengan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas, yang melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, pengurus masjid, dan warga sekitar dalam tahapan perencanaan, pendataan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa distribusi berhasil diselesaikan dalam satu hari, jumlah penerima manfaat melampaui target, dan tidak terdapat pemborosan sumber daya yang signifikan. Keterlibatan mahasiswa juga memberikan nilai pembelajaran langsung (experiential learning) dalam pengelolaan logistik sosial dan koordinasi antarsektor. Kegiatan Kurban ini menjadi model praktik baik yang dapat direplikasi dan dikembangkan sebagai program pengabdian masyarakat berkelanjutan di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Rekomendasi untuk kegiatan selanjutnya pengembangan program kurban berkelanjutan berbasis kampus
