Abstract

The writing of the article "Analysis of Samsung Company's Business Level andDiversification Strategy" aims to analyze the Business Level and diversificationstrategy carried out by Samsung since its inception until now. The research methodused in analyzing this article is a qualitative method, where the data collection stageis through direct observation at Samsung outlets and online in the form of socialmedia, internet sites and so on. After obtaining the necessary information and data,the author describes descriptively the results of the analysis. The final result of theanalysis is that Samsung's business strategy has helped the company create a goodposition in the technology industry and the company is able to offer high-qualityproducts at competitive prices. The diversification carried out by the Samsungcompany involves expanding product and service offerings into new markets andindustries. In conclusion Samsung company carried out a clear and efficientbusiness level strategy. All the ideas and decisions made by the management teamare always planned for longer good and bad outcomes.Keywords: Descriptive, Diversification, Samsung, Qualitative Method.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate how transformational leadership and employee engagement impact organizational performance in the logistics industry, with organizational resilience as a mediator. Using quantitative method, this study focuses on hypothesis testing. The study population consists of managerial level employees of logistics companies in Batam. Sample selection involved proportional representation of employees across different companies in the industry. Hypothesis testing showed significant relationships between the variables, with support for five of the seven hypotheses, consistent with previous research and offering empirical validation for the relationships examined. R-square values indicate a moderate relationship, suggesting that organizational performance is strongly influenced by organizational resilience, and vice versa, although other factors may also contribute to this dynamic.

Abstract

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) adalah bisnis restoran cepat saji yang spesialisasi menjual ayam goreng dan sudah memiliki cabang di berbagai negara. Setiap daerah, negara atau suku tentu memiliki lingkungan budaya yang berbeda sehingga penulis ingin menganalisis lingkungan budaya bisnis dan risiko yang akan dihadapi oleh perusahaan KFC tersebut. Penulisan artikel “Analisis Lingkungan Budaya Bisnis Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya perusahaan KFC dalam menyesuaikan lingkungan budaya bisnisnya di berbagai negara dan risiko utama bisnis internasional yang terdapat pada perusahaan KFC. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam menganalisis penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif, dimana tahap pengumpulan informasi dan data-data perusahaan melalui internet serta mengobservasi secara langsung ke salah satu outlet KFC terdekat di Kota Batam. Setelah memperoleh informasi dan data yang diperlukan, penulis menjelaskan secara deskriptif hasil analisisnya. Hasil akhir dari analisis ini ialah perusahaan KFC telah menyesuaikan bisnisnya sesuai dengan nilai-nilai budaya setempat dan berusaha meminimalisir risiko yang dihadapi perusahaan karena adanya perbedaan budaya lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Budaya, Bisnis Internasional, Metode Kualitatif, Risiko.
