Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan Smart Apps Creator bertujuan untuk membantu efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran yang ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan model ADDIE yaitu; melakukan analisis kinerja dan analisis kebutuhan; merancang media pembelajaran; mengembangkan dan mengreasikan materi media pembelajaran; implementasi hasil pengembangan melihat respons kepada siswa sekolah dasar kelas 6; dan evaluasi dengan melakukan uji kelayakan media pembelajaran melalui expert judgment tiga orang validator ahli media. Respons siswa diperoleh melalui angket respons terkait pengembangan media Smart Apps Creator pada materi bilangan bulat sekolah dasar dengan hasil sangat positif. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan media pembelajaran, diperoleh rata-rata persentase kelayakan dengan interpretasi yang baik. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan Smart Apps Creator sangat layak digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran materi bilangan bulat di sekolah dasar. The development of android-based learning media using Smart Apps Creator aims to help effectiveness and efficiency in the teaching and learning process achieve existing learning goals. The method used in this research is the development of the ADDIE model, which consists of performance analysis, designing learning media, developing, and creating learning media materials, the implementation of the development results saw the responses to the 6th-grade elementary school students; and evaluation by conducting a feasibility test of learning media through an expert judgment of three media expert validators. Student responses are obtained through related response questionnaires about the development of elementary school integers subject related to very positive results. That’s because of learning medium like this is a new and fun thing that can attract students’ interest. Based on the feasibility test of this learning media, the average percentage of eligibility was obtained with good interpretation. Thus, android-based learning media using Smart Apps Creator is very feasible to use as one of the alternatives in learning integer subjects in elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik MAN 1 Pontianak dalam menyelesaikan soal TIMSS konten geometri. Terdapat sembilan peserta didik yang terpilih selanjutnya dibentuk kedalam tiga kelompok yaitu kelompok yang memiliki kemampuan awal matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa 3 tes berbentuk uraian dan lembar wawancara untuk menggali kemampuan penalaran peserta didik secara mendalam. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi ditemukan tujuh dari sembilan peserta didik memiliki kemampuan mengajukan dugaan yang akurat, sementara dua lainnya kurang akurat. Dari sembilan anak, hanya dua yang mampu memanipulasi fakta matematika dengan akurat, sementara lima lainnya masih kurang. Dua dari sembilan peserta didik mendapat hasil yang akurat pada indikator membentuk kesimpulan logis, sedangkan lima peserta didik kurang akurat dan dua peserta didik tidak akurat sama sekali. This research is qualitative and descriptive which aims to identify the mathematical reasoning ability of MAN 1 Pontianak students in solving TIMSS questions on geometry content. Nine students were selected and then formed into three groups, namely groups with high, medium, and low initial mathematical abilities. The instruments used in this study were 3 tests in the form of descriptions and interview sheets to explore students' reasoning skills in depth. Based on the identification results, it was found that seven out of nine learners could make accurate conjectures, while the other two were less accurate. Of the nine children, only two were able to manipulate mathematical facts accurately, while the other five were still lacking. Two out of nine learners got accurate results on the indicator of forming logical conclusions, while five learners were less accurate and two learners were not accurate at all.
