Abstract

The very rapid development of the industrial world will have an impact on competitive competition between one company and another. Increasingly tight competition between companies means that companies must continue to improve the quality of the products they produce in order to produce good quality. This research aims to identify the causes of paper product defects in production units and analyze and improve product quality using the Six Sigma method. Data was collected through field observations and interviews, then analyzed using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) analysis, a framework that aims to improve quality and efficiency by identifying and eliminating the causes of defects or problems in business processes. The analysis results show that the current sigma level is 2.907 with the largest product defect being color defects with a percentage of 37.77% caused by human, machine, material, method and environmental factors. The repair stage is carried out using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify potential problems and determine recommendations for improvement. Recommendations for improvement activities in quality control emphasize regular monitoring and repair of machines as a guide for operators to maintain consistency in carrying out work procedures, increasing the frequency of regular machine inspections, especially for machines that frequently result in defective products, routine replacement of spare parts and repairs. environmental conditions to be carried out in accordance with the initial design of the equipment. And it is hoped that the activities carried out in improving quality control, emphasizing regular supervision and repair of machines, are expected to be able to increase productivity and quality of work produced and can increase profits for the company.

Abstract

Abstrak___ Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu perusahaan manufaktur otomotif dimana di perusahaan tersebut terdapat satu Departemen Supporting Machinery  yang bertugas untuk membuat produk-produk mesin produksi dan perlengkapan lainnya khusus untuk kebutuhan internal perusahaan. Disadari bahwa loyalitas pelanggan adalah hal yang sangat penting bagi keberlangsungan suatu usaha maka Departemen Suporting Machinery tersebut melakukan survey untuk memetakan faktor-faktor yang mengakibatkan pelanggan melakukan pemesanan produk tersebut dan bahkan menjadi pelanggan yang loyal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan survey terhadap para pelanggan atau responden terkait di lingkungan internal perusahaan. Hasil penelitian terhadap 40 responden dengan metode analisa faktor menunjukkan bahwa dari 16 variabel pernyataan terkait produk dan pelayanan menghasilkan empat faktor utama sebagai umpan balik untuk melakukan pelayanan terbaik kepada pelanggan tersebut. Keempat faktor tersebut adalah Kualitas Produk dan Pelayanan, Harga dan Nilai Tambah, Kemudahan Akses serta Respon dan Empati. Kata Kunci : Analisa Faktor; Produk dan Layanan; Pelanggan Loyal.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan permasalahan perkotaan yang membutuhkan penanganan khusus dari sisi pengangkutan dari tempat pembuangan sementara sampai pembuangan akhir. Saat ini pengangkutan sampah yang sudah dilakukan dilingkungn perumahan yaitu memiliki biaya sebesar Rp 1.550 (Rp dalam puluh ribuan). Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan sistem pengangkutan sampah sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan dapat lebih optimal. Metode yang digunakan untuk solusi awal yaitu dengan menggunakan metode North West Corner (NWC), Least Cost (LC), dan Vogel Approximation (VAM). Untuk mengoptimalkan hasil dari solusi awal menggunakan metode Stepping Stone. Berdasarkan analisis didapatkan hasil total cost yang optimal Rp 729 (Rp dalam puluh ribuan). Hal ini didapatkan dari perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode Least Cost (LC) dan Vogel Approximation (VAM) yang memiliki nilai total cost yang sama sebagai metode perhitungan solusi awal dan dilanjutkan dengan metode Stepping Stone untuk optimalisasi

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly rapid development of Muslims in the world and in Indonesia in particular. One of the pillars of Islam is the Hajj. If you can afford it, to get to Mecca you need a means of transportation. With good means of transportation, pilgrims can carry out the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages safely, calmly and without any hassle. This research aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) faced, as well as the appropriate marketing strategy to be implemented at PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir. This research uses a qualitative approach, where field data collection is carried out using interviews and document searches. From the research results that have been explained, it can be concluded that the SWOT analysis of PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir is guaranteed with a score of 0.4, while the weakness is the limited number of people responsible for distribution (lack of employees) with a score of 0.3. Second SWOT analysis of PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir regarding external factors for opportunities is the existence of good service with a score of 0.15, while the threat is the existence of competition between the same bureaus with a score of 0.04. The final result is the position of PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir is currently in quadrant I, namely growth strategy. This result is determined based on the average score on IFAS 2.4 and EFAS 3.31, so that the best alternative strategy for business development, especially the marketing strategy of PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir with a strength opportunities (SO) strategy is to maintain and improve service quality so that it can increase the opportunities that will be obtained by PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir. Based on the research conclusions, the author recommends in the form of suggestions, namely, PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir should implement a growth strategy by maintaining and improving the quality of services at PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir. Then the identification of strategies from researchers can be included as a strategic consideration for promotion of various service sectors in general in Hajj and Umrah travel services, and especially in PT. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir. Apart from being able to increase the value of the PT brand. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoir, can also strengthen  vision. Hamdan Syakuro Alkhoiry is to prioritize service and create comfort and uniqueness for the congregation in worship.
