Abstract

Personality is a complete set of attitudes, behaviors, thoughts, feelings and values that influence individuals to do things according to their environment. In addition, personality is often interpreted as a prominent trait in a person, for example, a person who has a friendly nature will be a person with a "friendly personality". Personality theory is a combination of teleological and causal views. Human behavior is determined not only by individual racial histories (causality), but also by individual goals and aspirations (teleology). This study aims to determine the personality side possessed by S students at MAN 1 ACEH southeast, using the personality theory according to Carl Gustav Jung.

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan pemahaman keislaman anak-anak sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan mengajar di TPQ Sugaraang Bayu, termasuk metode pembelajaran, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta dampaknya terhadap perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data yang valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pengajaran yang diterapkan di TPQ Sugaraang Bayu meliputi metode Iqra’, talaqqi, dan hafalan, yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Tantangan utama dalam kegiatan mengajar di TPQ ini adalah keterbatasan tenaga pengajar, fasilitas yang belum memadai, serta tingkat perhatian siswa yang bervariasi. Meskipun demikian, TPQ Sugaraang Bayu tetap berupaya meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran melalui pelatihan guru dan optimalisasi metode pembelajaran. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk orang tua dan masyarakat, dalam mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan Al-Qur’an bagi generasi muda. Dengan pengelolaan yang lebih baik, TPQ dapat terus menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter Islami anak-anak.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using the ABCDE technique in increasing positive self-acceptance in mothers who had children with special needs (ABK). The research method used a quantitative approach with a non-equivalent group pretest-posttest control design. The subjects consisted of 12 mothers, 6 in the experimental group and 6 in the control group. The pre-test results showed that all participants were in the moderate category (100%). After the intervention, all members of the experimental group moved to the high category (100%), while the control group remained in the moderate category (100%). The Wilcoxon test produced a Z value of -2.207 with a significance level of 0.027 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group. These findings indicated that the ABCDE technique was effective in helping parents manage emotions and develop positive self-acceptance regarding the condition of their children with special needs. This intervention could be used as an alternative group-based psychological support method in the context of special education.
