Abstract

Tobacco is an agricultural product that uses leaves to be processed into pesticides, medicines and cigarettes. Tobacco quality is determined by plant maintenance and reduced pest and disease attacks. To avoid these disturbances, control is needed quickly, precisely and accurately so that the tobacco plant disease cannot spread throughout agricultural land. In making fuzzy, diseases and symptoms in tobacco plants are used as a rule base in making a fuzzy expert system. The expert system created in this research is an expert system using the concept of fuzzy logic to diagnose tobacco plant diseases, using the Mamdani inference method and the defuzzification process using the centroid method (firmness value) to get the right conclusions in diagnosing tobacco plant diseases. From the results of Mamdani's design and manual fuzzy calculations, it can be concluded that the design is ready to be further implemented into the required programming language. From the sample calculation results, it was found that damping off disease has a moderate degree of risk with a value of 41.54. With the construction of this system, it will provide easy information for farmers to carry out and find out what symptoms are contracting diseases in tobacco plants.

Abstract

Indonesia Muslim Travel Index (IMTI) 2023 menunjukkan Nusa Tenggara Barat sebagai tujuan wisata Halal nomor 1 Indonesia. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat jumlah penduduk Muslim sebesar 96,80% dari 5,320,092 jiwa, tentu hal ini memiliki peluang besar untuk mendukung program pemerintah daerah dalam mewujudkan NTB tetap berada dalam urutan pertam destinasi halal di tahun-tahun berikutnya. Langkah yang penting dalam mewujudkan pariwisata halal adalah dengan memastikan bahwa produk baik itu makanan, minuman, fasilitas serta layanan yang digunakan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip kehalalan. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelaku usaha di Kota Mataram dalam memperoleh sertifikasi halal. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini meliputi pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif. Kegiatan diawali dengan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya sertifikasi halal, diikuti dengan pelatihan intensif yang mencakup aspek-aspek teknis dan administratif dalam proses sertifikasi halal. Hasil dari program PKM ini menunjukkan peningkatan terkait dengan pemahaman dan kesadaran pelaku usaha mengenai pentingnya sertifikasi halal. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan ini berhasil Menyusun dokumen sertifikasi dengan lebih baik dan beberapa di antaranya telah mengajukan permohonan sertifikasi halal ke aplikasi “SIHALAL”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan yang tepat, pelaku usaha di Kota Mataram dapat lebih siap bersaing di pasar yang semakin kompetitif.

Abstract

AbstrakKabupaten Lombok Utara merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berada di wilayah Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kabupaten ini memiliki beberapa desa, salah satu diantaranya yaitu Desa Medana. Desa Medana sewaktu-waktu dapat terjadi bencana kenaikan air laut (Air Rob). Dikarenakan Desa Medana hanya memiliki kitinggian sekitar 50 meter di atas permukaan laut. Selain itu Desa Medana rentan terhadap berbagai bencana alam, baik yang berasal dari pegunungan maupun dari laut. Sehingga, masyarakat di desa tersebut diharapkan untuk siap menghadapi potensi bencana alam seperti tanah longsor, angin topan, dan khususnya abrasi pantai. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan informasi mengenai banjir rob dan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir rob pada masyarakat Desa Medana, Kab. Lombok Utara. Kata kunci: Kabupaten Lombok Utara; Medana; bencana alam; banjir rob Abstract North Lombok Regency is one of the regencies located in the West Nusa Tenggara region. This regency consists of several villages, one of which is Medana Village. Medana Village is at risk of experiencing sea level rise (Tidal Flood) due to its elevation of only about 50 meters above sea level. Additionally, Medana Village is vulnerable to various natural disasters, both from the mountains and the sea. Therefore, the residents of this village are expected to be prepared for potential natural disasters such as landslides, hurricanes, and particularly coastal erosion. The aim of this community service is to enhance information about tidal floods and to improve the preparedness of Medana Village residents in North Lombok Regency for such disasters. Keywords: North Lombok Regency; Medana; natural disasters; tidal floods

Abstract

Cleft conditions significantly disrupt phonetic articulation, leading to hypernasality and irregular resonance characteristics. In this study, the formant analysis of normal and cleft speech is presented, with the aim of investigating acoustic differences in formant frequencies between cleft and normal speech using real-word utterances, focusing on the articulation of plosive consonants and resonance variability.  The dataset consisted of 280 speech signals (140 cleft and 140 normal) uttering word /paku/. The speech signals were resampled to 16kHz and the silence in the speech was removed, next stage was followed by extracting the first three formants using the Burg algorithm. Statistical analysis revealed that the value of F1 and F2 in cleft speech were higher, alongside greater variability in formant distribution. Further analysis of plosive articulation highlighted irregular formant transition in cleft speech, indicating compromised intraoral pressure control. Additionally, a moderate negative correlation (r = -0.423, p<0.001) between F1 and F3 suggests a spectral pattern indicative of hypernasality. This finding underscores the potential of formant-based acoustic features as objective markers for early clinical assessment and provides a foundation for the development of diagnostic models in cleft speech research.
