Abstract

Taxes play a very important role in financing various public needs. Enhancing tax compliance is crucial to increasing tax revenues. This study aims to investigate the impact of tax morality, tax fairness, and tax simplicity on tax compliance behavior through tax compliance intentions at the Jember Tax Office. The sample used was 400 respondents. This study uses the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) model. The results show that tax moral, tax fairness, tax simplicity, and tax compliance intention have a direct and significant effect on tax compliance behavior, respectively. A similar phenomenon also occurs in the connections between tax morals, tax fairness, and tax simplicity with tax compliance intention. Tax compliance intention acts as a mediator of the relationship between tax fairness and tax compliance behavior. On the other hand, tax compliance intention cannot mediate the correlation between tax morality and tax compliance behavior as well as the relationship between tax simplicity and tax compliance behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of data quality and experience on user satisfaction with the Data Application used in Jember Regency. The total population in the study was 11,667 who were State Civil Apparatus employees in the Jember Regency Government. The number of samples was determined as 117 people. The sampling method in this research uses purposive judgmental sampling, namely by determining certain criteria which aims to produce a sample that can logically be considered representative of the population based on the researcher's assessment. This research uses descriptive analysis, testing measuring instruments in the form of testing the validity and reliability of data, and testing research hypotheses. The research results show that the quality of data provided by the Jember Regency Satu Data Portal can have a very significant positive impact on user satisfaction. The user experience variable turns out to have a positive and significant influence on user satisfaction of the Jember Regency Satu Data Portal.

Abstract

Improving employee performance as part of efforts to enhance organizational performance should be a priority to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the management of government agencies, particularly at Directorate General of Taxes as one of strategic government institution. The research aims to investigate how work-life balance influences the performance of Directorate General of Taxes employees at Jember Tax Office. The factors examined include organizational support, workload, and role conflict. The method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Data were collected through google form questionnaires filled by 91 employees of Jember Tax Office. The findings indicate that role conflict negatively impacts employee performance directly and indirectly through the mediation of work-life balance. Conversely, organizational support and workload do not directly affect employee performance but show a significant indirect influence through the mediation of work-life balance. The Directorate General of Taxes needs to consider the level of role conflict that may arise for employees with each policy being formulated. Management also needs to pay attention to the organizational support and workload implemented, as they indirectly affect employee performance through the mediation of work-life balance

Abstract

Human resources who serve as officers or employees in a company or institutional organization are always considered a vital asset for an organization. Performance or work achievement can be interpreted as achieving work results in accordance with the rules and standards that apply to each organization. Performance can also be said to be the result or output of a process. The purpose of this research is to find out directly the influence of work engagement and knowledge sharing on employee performance at RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. The total sample in this study was 171 inpatient nurse respondents with a minimum work period of 3 years. Descriptive analysis is used to determine the respondent's description. Validity test and reliability test for the validity and reliability of research data. Hypothesis testing was also carried out in this research. The research results show that work engagement and knowledge sharing partially have a positive and significant effect on the performance of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan obyek tenaga kebersihan Universitas JemberĀ  yang ada disetiap fakultas dan kantor pusat, hal ini dikarenakan peneliti melihat adanya fenomena yang terjadi di Universitas Jember dimana tenaga kebersihan dengan penghasilan yang belum UMR. Rencana pengujian dalam penelitian ini adalah eksplorasi logis, yaitu untuk memperjelas tempat-tempat dari faktor-faktor yang dipertimbangkan dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara satu variabel dengan variabel lainnya, informasi tersebut ditangani dengan menggunakan program AMOSE Versi 5.0. Besar sampel yang dibutuhkan adalah 146 tenaga kerja kebersihan yang tersebar di seluruh rektorat dan masing-masing fakultas yang ada. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dengan tingkat signifikan dibawah 0,05 dengan hasil nilai uji sebesar 0,014. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Linkungan Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dengan tingkat signifikan di bawah 0,05 yang setara dengan 000. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Komitmen Organisasional dengan tingkat signifikan kurang dari 0,05, hasil ujinya yaitu 0,003. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Komitmen Organisasional dengan tingkat kepentingan dibawah 0,05 khususnya 0,003. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Komitmen Organisasional dengan tingkat kepentingan di bawah 0,05 yaitu 0,039. Akibat dari penghitungan sobel test menghasilkan estimasi Pemenuhan Tugas sebesar 1.365, karena nilai Kepuasan Kerja yang diperoleh adalah 1.365 1.985 dengan tingkat kepentingan 5%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja tidak dapat mengintervensi dampak tersebut. Kompensasi atas Komitmen Organisasional. Hasil perhitungan uji sobel didapatkan estimasi Pemenuhan Kepuasan Kerja baru sebesar 2.765, mengingat estimasi Kepuasan Kerja yang didapat adalah 2,765 1,96 dengan tingkat signifikan 5%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Kepuasan Kerja dapat mengintervensi dampak Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Komitmen Organisasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh work-life balance dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Tim Pendamping Keluarga Berisiko Stunting (TPK) di Kabupaten Jember, dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Dalam konteks ini, tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana work-life balance dan kompensasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun melalui kepuasan kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah sensus dengan sampel 373 responden, dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai mediator yang menghubungkan kedua variabel independen dengan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi penting bagi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam konteks peningkatan kinerja TPK untuk mendukung percepatan penurunan angka stunting di Indonesia.
