Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the influence of the make a match learning model compared with expository learning models on the understanding of students' social science concepts. This research uses quasi-experimental research with pretest - posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students at Tanggul Rejo 2 Public Elementary School in Marabahan District, consisting of class V A totaling 20 students as experimental class and 22 students of class V B as control class in semester II of the academic year 2017/2018. The selection of the experimental class and the control class based on the characteristics of students that are almost the same, by random method. The random results of class V A were selected as the experimental class using the make a match learning model and class V B as the control class using the expository learning model. The data analysis technique used independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed that the make a match learning model had a more significant effect than the expository learning model on the understanding of the social studies concept of students in SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi-eksperimental research) dengan desain pretest ? posttest control group design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 Kabupaten Marabahan, terdiri dari kelas V A berjumlah 20 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 22 peserta didik kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Pemilihan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik yang hampir sama, dengan cara random. Hasil random terpilih kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dan paired sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh lebih signifikan dibandingkan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik di SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of students’ understanding of the local content subject of Banjar Language on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru City. Students’ understanding of the Banjar language is developed through both written and oral instruction delivered by teachers using the *Budaya dan Bahasa Banjar* module as the primary learning material to meet the predetermined assessment standards. This study employs a quantitative research approach in which the findings are analyzed using statistical data. The object of the study is the influence of understanding and learning outcomes in Banjar Language among fifth grade students at SDN 1 Syamsudin Noor. The research subjects consist of all fifth grade students totaling 53 students. The sample was selected using simple random sampling with 35 students chosen randomly. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability using Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS 29 for Windows. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results of data analysis indicate that the linear equation shows X (understanding) at 0.981 and Y (Banjar Language learning outcomes) at 25.485 indicating a strong influence of variable X on variable Y in achieving learning outcomes. Furthermore the t-test results show that t calculated = 73.80 and t table at a significance level of 5% = 0.334 with N = 35. Since t calculated (73.80) is greater than t table (0.334) the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of students’ understanding of the local content subject of Banjar Language on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Syamsudin Noor Banjarbaru City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze science and social studies (IPAS) learning based on local wisdom in strengthening elementary school students’ character. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that IPAS learning integrated with local wisdom helps students understand the material more easily because it is related to their surrounding environment. In addition, this learning approach fosters character values such as cooperation, responsibility, and environmental awareness. However, there are still challenges such as limited learning media and teacher innovation. In conclusion, local wisdom-based IPAS learning is effective in strengthening students’ character in a contextual and meaningful way.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen peran guru kelas dalam mengintegrasikan pariwisata lokal pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga guru kelas yang dipilih secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling telah berjalan secara implisit, namun belum terstruktur. Integrasi pariwisata lokal masih terbatas pada aspek kognitif dan belum optimal dalam pengembangan sosial-emosional siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran dan layanan bimbingan secara terpadu.
