Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk rasa cinta tanah air pada anak-anak. Artikel ini membahas peran pendidikan dalam membentuk rasa cinta tanah air pada siswa ICC Muar, Malaysia, dengan fokus pada pengenalan sejarah, budaya, dan nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kebangsaan yang terintegrasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan dapat membantu anak-anak memahami aspek-aspek penting bagi bangsa Indonesia. Selain itu, pengenalan tentang keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia juga penting dalam mengembangkan rasa cinta tanah air yang kuat. Strategi pendidikan yang efektif menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik, termasuk kegiatan kebangsaan dan kunjungan ke tempat bersejarah. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa strategi pendidikan tersebut berhasil dalam membentuk perilaku positif pada siswa, seperti menghargai keanekaragaman budaya dan lingkungan serta memperkuat rasa cinta dan identitas kebangsaan. Penelitian ini juga mencakup pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang akan dievaluasi untuk mengukur efektivitasnya dalam membentuk rasa cinta tanah air pada anak-anak. Evaluasi ini melibatkan tes dan observasi terhadap perubahan perilaku anak-anak setelah mengikuti strategi pendidikan yang dikembangkan. Dengan hasil positif yang dicapai, diharapkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan bagi anak bangsa akan meningkat, dan masyarakat dapat lebih mendukung pendidikan di lingkungannya. Selain itu, pendidikan kewarganegaraan juga memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa, memperkenalkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, dan membina moral yang positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a measurement instrument for the implementation of Islamic lifestyle guidelines among Muhammadiyah community members. The research procedure adapts Borg and Gall's development research model. The steps in instrument development include preliminary research, planning, initial product development, limited testing, and expanded testing. Five experts were involved in the development of the initial product, with expertise covering measurement, religious thought, and Muhammadiyah practice. The expert assessment data were analyzed using the Aiken formula. Twenty-five Muhammadiyah leaders in Karanyanyar participated in the limited testing phase, and the data from this phase were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis with SPSS. The expanded testing involved 253 leaders and members of Muhammadiyah in the districts of Karanganyar, Sragen, and Boyolali, selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The data from the expanded testing were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) with LISREL software. The research resulted in a package of 27 valid and reliable measurement items for the implementation of Islamic lifestyle guidelines among Muhammadiyah members, suitable for further measurement.
