Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Mosque Management Information System (SIMM) to manage the administrative and operational activities of mosques. The method used in this research is the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model. The SDLC phases include Project Planning Phase, Analysis Phase, Design Phase, Implementation Phase, and Support Phase. This research was conducted at Al Hikmah Mosque, located in Grand Samara Residence, Dusun Kopo, Klari Village, Karawang District. Data and information were collected through surveys and interviews with mosque administrators. The results show that the developed web-based SIMM can improve efficiency in data management, enhance coordination among stakeholders, and increase transparency in financial management. The system was well received by mosque administrators and is expected to improve the overall quality of mosque management. Additionally, this SIMM is expected to provide better services to the congregation and increase the accountability of mosque administrators.

Abstract

The village of Segarjaya has conducted an eligibility survey to obtain low-quality rice, but the information collected is still inaccurate, and the assessment of the eligibility for low-quality rice is not standardized. Due to the lack of standardization and inaccuracies regarding the recipients of poor rice assistance, the community often protests. The aim of this research is to develop a DSS system capable of providing accurate data results to the assistance recipients and implementing standard evaluation criteria for the recipients of poor rice. The TOPSIS method was chosen to create the DSS system. The research procedure starts with data collection, followed by the decision matrix, determining whether the solution is positive or negative ideal, the optimal distance between solutions, and the preference values for each option. The result of this research is a DSS algorithm that can be applied to PBM, which can support the Segarjaya village authorities to be more accurate in making decisions for the recipients of poor rice subsidies.

Abstract

The rapid development of information systems has highlighted the need for integrated solutions that streamline access and control mechanisms. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has emerged as a reliable tool for identifying and tracking objects using radio signals. Its applications have expanded to inventory management, logistics, security, and access control. One such application involves enhancing room access systems using RFID, which improves user security and portability. However, at Horizon University, ID-Cards are currently underutilized, serving only as student identification without supporting additional functionalities. This research introduces a web-based experimental approach to developing an RFID-enabled room access system. The proposed system integrates RFID technology to control and monitor room access effectively, ensuring that only authorized users can enter. The methodology involves designing a hardware-software interface for data capture, storage, and retrieval through a web platform. This innovation is expected to enhance security, optimize ID-Card utility, and provide comprehensive room access management tailored for educational or organizational environments.

Abstract

Era digital telah mempengaruhi bahkan merubah berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Digitalisasi layanan merupakan sebuah proses pemakaian sistem digital yang mengubah layanan manual atau analog menjadi berbasis digital dengan memanfaat teknologi informasi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja, kemudahan, efisiensi waktu, tenaga dan sumber daya. Metaverse merupakan konsep dunia virtual yang dapat dimiliki dan diisi dengan berbagai benda dan kegiatan selayaknya dunia nyata melalui tampilan 3 dimensi. Penelitian ini akan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana Metaverse mempengaruhi kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan panduan praktis kepada pengusaha tentang bagaimana mereka dapat memanfaatkan potensi Metaverse dalam bisnis mereka. Metaverse sangat efektif dan memiliki potensi pengembangan yang besar.

Abstract

Supplier selection is the most important thing for a company to find out the best supplier who will supply products to the company, especially at Toserba Fajar Karawang. The supplier selection process at Toserba Fajar Karawang is still not systematic enough so that the supplier selection process is not accurate. Therefore, a decision support system is needed in supplier selection which is part of the computer information system used by a company which will later process data into information to make a decision. The purpose of this study is expected to help in the goods order section in the process or determine the selection of the best supplier selection built using the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method, this method was chosen because it can provide subjective and intuitive considerations in a decision so that these considerations are in the form of giving weight to multifactors that are considered important to the alternatives that have been selected. Based on the final result, namely a decision support system for selecting the best supplier where users can input and get the stored data, namely criteria data, sub-criteria data, supplier data, product data, selection data, and report data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology utilization on learning success in higher education using the flipped learning model. The flipped learning model shifts content delivery outside the classroom through digital media, allowing in-class time to be focused on active discussions and problem-solving. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving students from various study programs at a higher education institution. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring students' perceptions of the effectiveness of digital technology, participation levels, and learning outcomes. The analysis results indicate that the use of digital technology significantly enhances student engagement and understanding of the material, positively impacting learning success. These findings highlight the importance of integrating technology into innovative learning strategies to support the transformation of higher education.

Abstract

Kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan yang dilakukan melalui proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SMA Negeri 3 Cikampek. Kemajuan teknologi yang pesat mengharuskan lembaga pendidikan menyesuaikan metode pembelajarannya untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tuntutan dalam dunia kerja. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis AI kedalam kurikulum, memberikan siswa pengalaman langsung dan pengetahuan praktis yang relevan dengan bidang studi mereka Metologi yang digunakan meliputi lokakarya interaktif, demonstrasi, dan penerapan perangkat lunak pendidikan berbasis AI. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi 1 hari dengan dilakukannya penyampaianmateri secara lansgung. Hasil yang didapatkan menggambarkan peningkatan pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh siswa ketika menggunakan teknologi AI dalam memahami materi kecerdasan buatan (IOT).

Abstract

Scholarship selection processes in higher education institutions commonly involve multiple evaluation criteria, making manual assessment time-consuming, inconsistent, and prone to subjective bias. This study proposes a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) for scholarship recipient selection, built upon Bayesian Probability inference integrated with Laplace Smoothing to address the zero-probability limitation inherent in conventional Naive Bayes classification. The system processes five standardized selection criteria — cumulative GPA, parental income, residential status, active semester, and non-academic achievement — and produces real-time eligibility recommendations alongside normalized posterior probability visualizations to enhance decision transparency. A dataset of 150 historical scholarship application records from a university in Karawang, covering two academic years (2022/2023 and 2023/2024), was used to train and evaluate the model. Performance assessment was conducted through 5-fold cross-validation, yielding a mean accuracy of 91.67%, precision of 90.00%, recall of 93.33%, and F1-score of 91.61%. Comparative analysis against conventional Naive Bayes, TOPSIS, and Bayesian-AHP hybrid methods demonstrated consistent superiority across all evaluation metrics. The 13.67% accuracy improvement over conventional Naive Bayes was primarily attributed to the elimination of zero-probability events through Laplace Smoothing with α = 1, as well as structured posterior normalization. User acceptance testing confirmed that the probability distribution visualization feature significantly improved operator comprehension of the system's reasoning. These findings establish Bayesian Probability with Laplace Smoothing as a technically sound and practically effective foundation for automated, transparent, and auditable scholarship decision support systems.
