Abstract

Background: Flourishing is the highest level of well-being in positive psychology. Flourishing individuals have high levels of well-being based on hedonic and eudaimonic well-being perspectives. Flourishing is a developing concept that has yet to be widely studied in positive psychology. Objective: This literature review aims to trace the development of theoretical concepts and scales that can be used to research the flourishing variable further. Methods: This research uses a literature review, which involves searching reputable journals for articles related to the concept and scale of flourishing. Results: The PERMA concept introduced by Seligman is the primary literature that forms the foundation for examining flourishing by combining two theories. This PERMA concept states that flourishing in individuals can be measured by five aspects: positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meaningfulness, and individual achievement. Conclusion: Other researchers then developed the PERMA concept as a reference for creating a flourishing scale. Keywords: Flourishing, well-being, theory, scale, literature review

Abstract

Career calling plays a crucial role in shaping an individual’s career journey. It provides essential direction for students in their learning process and helps establish clear career goals. related to learning and a clear direction for career goals. This study aims to explore the whole and the predictor variables that can affect students' career calling. This study uses a systematic literature review combined with bibliometric analysis method by searching reputable journals through databases: ScienceDirect, Springer, SAGE Journals, Frontiers, MDPI, Wiley Online Library, and Taylor & Francis. Based on a series of systematic literature review methods in reputable journals, 11 relevant articles were obtained. The study results show that 13 factors can affect students' career calling. In conclusion, these factors are categorized into three parts: individual attributes, psychological factors, and environmental factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena pentingnya flourishing pada karyawan proyek yang bekerja pada kondisi kerja yang beresiko Flourishing merupakan bentuk kesejahteraan level tertinggi dalam psikologi positif. Kondisi flourishing pada karyawan merupakan hal yang penting bagi karyawan karena flourishing berkaitan dengan berbagai perilaku kerja yang sifatnya positif. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perceived organizational support dan flourishing pada karyawan. Subjek penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh menggunakan 65 orang karyawan proyek di PT. X sebagai subjek penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Kedua variabel diukur menggunakan skala flourishing dan perceived organizational support. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kedua variabel memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi 0,709 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (p<0,05). Hal ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dalam kategori kuat antara variabel perceived organizational support dan flourishing pada karyawan proyek PT. X.
