Abstract

Indonesia is on the path of the Pacific Ring of Fire so all regions in Indonesia are prone to disasters. The last ten years have also seen many disasters in several areas. The reason is climate change which has an impact on erratic weather. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge of disaster risk on perceptions of climate change in college students. Quantitative research method with 101 student subjects. The measurement tools used are disaster risk knowledge and climate change perceptions. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between knowledge of disaster risk and perceptions of climate change among college students. The effective contribution shows 39.3%, meaning that disaster risk knowledge contributes 39.3% to climate change perceptions, and 69.7% is influenced by other factors. The results also show that students' knowledge of disaster risk is low and students' perceptions of climate change are negative. The results of this study are important as a basis for making interventions in the form of more effective and massive education for students about disaster risk.

Abstract

Digital libraries are one of the implementations of information technology development. So far, both government and private institutions have developed many digital libraries, either in the form of websites or Android-based applications that can be accessed through various devices. However, at present, all elementary schools in Sukoharjo District do not have digital libraries for literacy self-sufficiency. Therefore, this community service aims to provide assistance related to the creation of digital libraries. The community service is conducted through direct simulation, where facilitators provide tutorials followed by the participants. The main objective of this service is to encourage teachers in elementary schools in Kartasura Sub-district, Sukoharjo, to be creative in developing educational media. This digital library, based on design, utilizes applications like Canva for design, Google Drive for storage, and the BSE (Educational Materials Center) catalog from the Ministry of Education and Culture as the main training materials. Fifteen teachers from various elementary schools in Kartasura Sub-district participated in the training, and the response was positive. Participants implemented the results of the training in their respective schools. Furthermore, this digital library serves as a means to fulfill the needs of seeking reference sources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias, and other reading materials that support the teaching and learning process. Through this training, literacy self-sufficiency is fostered among schools, teachers, and students.

Abstract

The large number of cases that occur among teenagers, such as hostility, brawls between groups and other interpersonal conflicts, indicate the low level of personal forgiveness in these teenagers. Forgiveness studies are very important to see the psychological quality of forgiveness in adolescents to reduce deviant behavior such as aggressive behavior. One factor that influences forgiveness is religiosity. The religious norms contained in forgiveness are contained in religiosity. So this research aims to review previous research regarding the relationship between religiosity and forgiveness. Through systematic literature review (SLR) research with a meta-analysis approach, this research contains 17 international and national journal articles taken from the research period from 2010 to 2024. The Meta-analysis uses the Bare-Bone Method which examining sampling and population correlation. The results of this study show that religiosity has an influence on forgiveness. The analysis found a sampling error variance of 0.0025, while the population variance was 0.047. The results of this meta-analysis support previous research on religiosity towards forgiveness. Therefore, to foster and improve forgiveness, the religiosity factor is very important to develop in interventions for adolescent forgiveness. Keywords - Forgiveness, Meta-Analysis, Religiosity.

Abstract

Indonesia’s rich cultural diversity, encompassing over 300 ethnic groups and more than 700 local languages, presents immense potential for the development of culture-based tourism. However, this cultural wealth faces increasing threats from modernization, urbanization, and globalization, which contribute to the erosion of traditional values and local identity. One promising solution to counteract these challenges is the implementation of walking tours, which offer immersive and educational tourism experiences that foster deeper cultural appreciation while empowering local communities. This study aims to explore how walking tours can function as effective instruments for cultural preservation and community-based tourism development in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach through literature review, the research analyzes secondary data from academic publications, policy reports, and case studies focusing on walking tour practices in various Indonesian cities and cultural villages. The findings reveal that walking tours provide significant benefits, including the revitalization of local wisdom, economic opportunities for artisans and small businesses, and increased tourist awareness of cultural sustainability. Moreover, the role of trained local tour guides is pivotal in facilitating authentic and meaningful interactions between tourists and host communities. These tours contribute not only to visitor satisfaction but also to the strengthening of cultural identity and community resilience. In conclusion, walking tours serve as a strategic model for integrating cultural education, tourism, and community empowerment.

Abstract

Memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus diperlukan kesediaan dan penerimaan yang penuh dari orang tua. Untuk itu pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra dalam meningkatkan penerimaan diri para orang tua dan membantu mensejahterakaan anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan cara para orang tua mengetahui potensi yang dimiliki anak serta memberikan apresiasi kepada anak ketika di lingkungan rumah. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan cara experient learning, yaitu upaya reflektif untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran para peserta untuk mengenali potensi yang dimiliki oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus. Melalui media bintang dari apel, para orang tua diberikan refleksi bahwa setiap anak memiliki potensinya masing-masing. Pengabdian ini bekerjasama dengan SLB Mitra Ananda Colomadu, Karanganyar. Peserta pengabdian adalah para orang tua siswa di SLB Mitra Ananda yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan para orang tua menyadari bahwa setiap anak memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing. Para orang tua mampu mengidentifikasi anak sebagai anugerah, mengenali sifat-sifat baik anak dan kegiatan yang disukai anak sebagai upaya mensejahterakan anak ketika di lingkungan rumah. Selain itu terjadi peningkatan penerimaan diri oleh orang tua.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara majemuk dan multicultural membutuhkan sikap toleransi untuk menjaga harmoni dan kestabilan negara. Konflik panjang antar umat beragama menjadikan isu penting dalam menjawab kerukunan beragama. Desa Jrahi menjadi poteret nyata berlangsunya kerukunana antar umat beragama. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini secara khusus menilik kehidupan beragama dan bermasyarakat di Desa Jrahi. Tokoh agama menjadi informan utama dalam penelitian ini. Terdapat tiga informan yaitu tokoh agama Islam, Kristen dan Buddha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwsannya masyarakat menjalankan prinsip-prinsip toleransi, melalui komuniksai terbuka, nilai-nilai budaya dan menjaga keutuhan masyarakat dari kontestasi politik. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Jrahi tersebut akhirnya desa ini dinobatkan sebagai Desa Pancasila..
