Abstract

Perancangan aplikasi mobile “ProtectU” bertujuan untuk menyediakan platform pelaporan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan universitas yang efektif dan mudah diakses. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan berbasis Android Studio, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mobile untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan mahasiswa. Fitur utama dari “ProtectU” meliputi berita pelecehan, bookmark berita, laporan korban, dan tampilan profile pada user. Desain antarmuka yang intuitif dan responsif dirancang untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam mengakses layanan yang tersedia. Melalui implementasi ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta lingkungan kampus yang lebih aman dan kondusif, serta mendorong kesadaran dan keberanian melaporkan kejadian kekerasan seksual. “ProtectU” diharapkan menjadi solusi yang signifikan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan kasus kekerasan seksual di lingkungan Universitas.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a mobile application to track food intake and physical activity while offering simple dietary pattern analysis. The primary goal was to create an intuitive tool enabling users to log meals, record physical activities, and receive actionable feedback on caloric balance. Developed using Agile methodology, the application includes user-friendly interfaces for data entry, a dashboard for visualizing caloric intake and expenditure, and feedback to enhance users’ understanding of dietary habits. Results from a one week user testing phase demonstrated high user satisfaction, with participants appreciating the app’s simplicity and clarity in presenting health-related insights. The app effectively encouraged users to engage with their dietary and activity habits, promoting informed lifestyle decisions. However, limitations such as the lack of detailed macronutrient tracking and integration with wearable devices were identified, which could improve accuracy and broaden the app's appeal. Future improvements are suggested, including the addition of macronutrient analysis, wearable device compatibility, and features like goal-setting and gamification to enhance engagement. These findings indicate that a straightforward, user-friendly health tracking app can significantly increase health awareness and support behavior change, particularly for individuals new to health monitoring. The research highlights the potential of simple digital tools to foster sustainable health improvements while addressing users’ needs effectively.

Abstract

Penyampaian aspirasi mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus seringkali masih dilakukan secara manual dan kurang efektif, sehingga menyulitkan proses komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan pihak fakultas. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan akan media yang lebih praktis dan mudah diakses, di rancanglah aplikasi FIKSpresif berbasis Android yang memungkinkan mahasiswa menyampaikan aspirasi secara langsung melalui ponsel. Aplikasi ini menyediakan fitur pengiriman aspirasi, pilihan untuk anonim, serta pengelolaan akun dan riwayat aspirasi. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mobile, aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan komunikasi dua arah yang lebih terbuka dan responsif di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. Proses perancangan dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, hingga implementasi tampilan antarmuka.

Abstract

Pelatihan pemrograman mobile berbasis Android merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Al-Ukhuwah, Subang dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi teknologi siswa. Pemateri yang terlibat adalah dosen dari Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, dan peserta pelatihan terdiri dari siswa dan guru dari SMPIT Al-Ukhuwah dan SMPIT Al-Ukhuwah. Jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak 18 orang, terdiri dari 8 orang guru dan 10 orang siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berfokus pada penggunaan Android Studio untuk membuat aplikasi mobile. Namun, terjadi ketidaksesuaian jadwal karena proses instalasi Android Studio memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Sebagai akibatnya, durasi pelatihan harus diringkas dari 4 modul menjadi 2 modul, dengan tambahan tugas sebagai pengganti materi yang tidak tercakup. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta berhasil membuat aplikasi sederhana berupa kalkulator untuk menghitung volume balok. Pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang bagi peserta. Para siswa dan guru meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang pemrograman mobile dan pengembangan aplikasi Android. Mereka juga mengembangkan keterampilan kerjasama tim, kreativitas, dan pemecahan masalah. Meskipun terdapat kendala dalam jadwal pelatihan, kegiatan ini tetap berhasil memberikan hasil yang positif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pelatihan pemrograman mobile di sekolah-sekolah untuk mempersiapkan generasi yang kompeten di bidang teknologi.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are widely used in critical applications such as environmental monitoring and the Internet of Things (IoT), where energy efficiency and minimal latency are critical for network robustness and effectiveness. Conventional clustering and routing methods often struggle to adapt to fluctuating network conditions, resulting in suboptimal energy usage and increased latency. This study introduces REACH, an adaptive clustering and routing algorithm that leverages reinforcement learning to optimize energy consumption and reduce latency in WSNs. The proposed protocol dynamically selects cluster heads based on real-time network characteristics, including node density and energy levels, enhancing adaptability and robustness. Simulation results using MATLAB show significant improvements, with energy consumption reduced by 35% and latency reduced by 40% compared to traditional protocols such as LEACH and HEED. These findings suggest that reinforcement learning can significantly improve the performance of WSNs by extending the network lifetime and minimizing data transmission delay. This research contributes to the development of intelligent network protocols, offering practical insights into the integration of reinforcement learning for sustainable and scalable WSN design.

Abstract

The use of technology in education has seen rapid development over the past few decades, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) becoming one of the most prominent technologies. AI has the potential to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching and learning processes, particularly in the development of interactive teaching materials. The training titled "Integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Interactive Teaching Materials," held on May 17, 2024, at Tunas Jakasampurna School, aimed to improve teachers' understanding and skills in using AI. This training was attended by 35 teachers and involved lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice using AI applications such as ChatGPT and Gemini. Before the training, a pretest was conducted to assess participants' initial understanding of AI. The pretest results showed varying levels of understanding among teachers, with average scores ranging from 2.4 to 3.4 on a Likert scale of 1-5. Post-training results indicated a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills, with average scores ranging from 4.4 to 4.8. The training successfully enhanced teachers' knowledge and confidence in using AI to develop interactive teaching materials. Participants also expressed high satisfaction with the training and plan to continue developing their skills in this field.
