Abstract

Dalam dunia Pendidikan terdapat banyak sekali pendekatan-pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan keaktifan siswa. Salah satu pendekatan yang sering digunakan yaitu pendekatan STEM. STEM merupakan suatu pendekatan dengan mengembangkan 4 disiplin ilmu sekaligus yaitu, Sains (Science), Teknologi (Technology), Teknik (Engineering), dan Matematika (Matchematics). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan STEM di berbagai negara, baik negara maju maupun negara berkembang seperti negara Indonesia, Singapura, Australia dan Amerika Serikat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber pustaka yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah melalui jurnal internasional dan nasional yang diperoleh dari platform seperti Google Scholar, melalui tahapan pencarian literatur, seleksi studi dan penilaian kualitas. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan penerapan pendidikan STEM di negara Indonesia, Singapura, Australia dan Amerika Serikat mampu meningkatkan kualitas guru, siswa dan kualitas pendidikan di masing-masing negara tersebut.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, innovation in education should also increase. One of them is the use of the KineMaster video editor application in making learning media so that such media which is able to make students active in the learning process is created. The type of research used in this research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. ADDIE development model has some stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the experiment in this study were 16 students in the fifth grade of SDN 12 Koto Baru. The research was conducted on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th of March 2023. The results of this study obtained that the average result of the validation is 95.55% with the category very valid. The results of the teachers’ response questionnaires obtained 93,33% with category very practical, while the students response questionnaires at SDN 12 Koto Baru is 94,37% with category very practical. Thus, it can be concluded that this KineMaster-based learning media is qualified to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak—Menyimak ekstensif dapat diartikan sebagai suatu kegiatan mendengarkan hal umum, serta terbuka terkait dengan apa yang dibicarakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui urgensi menyimak ekstensif pada kalangan mahasiswa terutama bagi pecinta podcast. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah data sekunder, teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik simak, catat, libat, dan jenis teknik validasi artikel ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah menyimak ekstensif di kalangan mahasiswa pecinta podcast memiliki peran penting seperti: 1) Dapat menambah wawasan melalui menyimak podcast 2) Dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mendengar 3) Dapat memperluas jaringan dan informasi 4) Dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat 4 urgensi menyimak ekstensif di kalangan mahasiswa pecinta podcast.Kata kunci- Mahasiswa, Menyimak Ekstensif, Podcast  Abstract—Extensive listening can be defined as an activity of listening to general, open things related to what is being discussed. The purpose of this study is to find out the urgency of extensive listening among students, especially for podcast lovers. This research uses library research method, the data used in this research is secondary data, the techniques used in this research are listening, note taking, involvement, and the type of validation technique of this article is done by using triangulation technique. The results of this study are extensive listening among students who love podcasts has an important role such as: 1) Can add insight through listening to podcasts 2) Can develop listening skills 3) Can expand networks and information 4) Can improve language skills. The conclusion in this study is that there are 4 urgencies of extensive listening among students who love podcasts.Keywords- Students, Extensive Listening, Podcasts
