Abstract

When learning Indonesian in SD/MI, teachers need a learning model to support the smooth running of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. One of the obstacles in learning to write in SD/MI is low interest and writing skills. The Pair Check learning model was chosen by researchers to be used in learning to write in SD/MI so that students can learn independently and responsibly. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative method with a literature study research approach. Data sources in this research include several journals and scientific works according to the research title. The literature is related to the field of pair check learning models and writing skills in SD/MI. Data sources were found in printed and electronic literature. Researchers found ten relevant research journals, but there were three scientific works and journals used. The literature study was carried out by the author looking for scientific works and research journals that were relevant to the research title. Based on the results of literature studies in three journals, it can be concluded that elementary/MI students' writing skills have improved by using the Pair Share learning model. Improvement is not only in student learning outcomes but also student activity and interest. So, implementing the Pair Share learning model can be a solution and a varied learning model and provide innovation to teachers when implementing writing lessons. Apart from that, this learning model is also expected to be able to improve students' writing learning outcomes in SD/MI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium in science subjects at elementary schools through a literature review method. The data used are secondary data obtained from various journals, scientific articles, and conference proceedings. The analysis of six scientific works indicates that the use of Canva has a positive impact on increasing students' learning motivation, academic performance, and creativity. Canva's features, which allow the creation of interactive learning media such as videos and visualizations of abstract concepts, facilitate educators in delivering material. Additionally, Canva helps enhance students' science literacy by presenting engaging content aligned with 21st-century technological advancements. The platform is also considered practical and user-friendly for teachers, requiring no special design skills. However, some limitations were identified in its application, such as the frequent combination of Canva with other learning media and suboptimal implementation in online learning. In conclusion, Canva is an innovative, effective, and relevant learning tool to improve the quality of science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah menjadi kebutuhan mendesak pada era teknologi saat ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab tantangan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat metode konvensional yang kurang menarik dan belum terintegrasi dengan ajaran Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas media digital interaktif berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas dua putaran kegiatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket motivasi belajar, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas belajar, pedoman wawancara, serta kuesioner motivasi yang divalidasi oleh ahli. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data secara sistematis, serta penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa setelah penggunaan media digital interaktif berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, ditandai dengan peningkatan keaktifan, minat, serta tanggung jawab dalam belajar. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pendidikan Islam dan teknologi pembelajaran, serta menjadi model inovatif dalam mengintegrasikan nilai religius dan teknologi di lingkungan madrasah.
