This study investigates the efficacy of the Al-talaqqi learning model in improving comprehension of Arab Turats books, specifically through the analysis of Mutammimah Al-Jurumiyah at Madrasah Aliyah Mu'allimat NW Anjani during the academic year 2023-2024. The background emphasizes the significance of traditional Arabic grammar texts in Islamic education and the challenges students face in comprehending them. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing document analysis as the primary method of data collection. Data is gathered from students' interpretations and insights derived from their engagement with Mutammimah Aljurumiyah using the Al-talaqqi model. Analysis involves thematic coding and interpretation to extract meaningful patterns and insights. Findings indicate that the Al-talaqqi model significantly enhances students' understanding and application of Arabic grammar concepts. Consequently, the study concludes that integrating the Al-talaqqi model into Islamic education curriculum can foster a deeper grasp of Arabic grammar among students. This research suggests implications for curriculum development, highlighting the importance of pedagogical innovations in enhancing educational outcomes in Arabic language studies.

Abstract

This study examines the revitalization of kutub al-Turats within the framework of Islamic education at Ma’had Dār al-Qur’ān wa al-Ḥadīth NW Anjani, Lombok, in response to the challenges of the digital era. It explores how the integration of classical Islamic texts with digital tools can strengthen both the spiritual and intellectual development of students. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the Ma’had has effectively leveraged digital technology to increase students’ access to and engagement with kutub al-Turats, leading to a deeper understanding of Islamic knowledge and the reinforcement of moral and ethical values. This case demonstrates that a balanced integration of tradition and technology can enhance the relevance of Islamic education without compromising its core principles. Although the study is context-specific and its findings may not be widely generalizable, it provides practical and theoretical insights into how Islamic educational institutions can adapt to the digital age while preserving the richness of classical Islamic heritage.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into Arabic language education has become increasingly relevant in the context of 21st-century learning, especially in addressing challenges such as low student interest and the perception that Arabic is a difficult subject. This study aims to explore the integration of digital technology in Arabic language learning within Islamic boarding schools. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from surveys with 100 female students and 4 Arabic teachers from two institutions at Pondok Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani, and qualitative data from semi-structured interviews and classroom observations. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were thematically analyzed. The results show that both students and teachers generally perceive technology positively in Arabic learning. It enhances motivation, expands access to resources, encourages collaborative learning, and allows for personalized instruction. Nevertheless, challenges include limited access to devices, inadequate quality of digital content, and insufficient digital competencies among teachers. In conclusion, the integration of digital technology holds great promise for improving Arabic language instruction, provided there is sufficient institutional investment in infrastructure and teacher training.
